Instead of asking questions like this, why not you buy it yourself if you are keen on the watch?
You don't need someone else to decide how good any rep is, I am sure you can decide that for yourself.

No need to apologize at all you’ve done nothing wrong.

My point was that another member can write a nice review about a watch and you buy it and feel completely different. I always encourage members to experiment for themselves and be the reviewer for themselves rather than relying on anyone else.

The 15500 is completely different from this. You need to decide which suits your style better. The sizes are worlds apart lol

From the photos these don’t look accurate when compared to gen. The gen “AP” clasp is square, not rectangular. On the gen two tone, the AP clasp is gold not silver. The case back engravings are incorrect as well. JF 33MM markings and clasp shape/color is correct when compared to gen. Hopefully we see some updates to the 34mm that address these issues.

Jf 33mm white dial, the logo is wrong. The A and P sit closed together. However the black dial is corrected.

I'm very interested in the white dial version. Although it does not look like gen which have a silver-tone dial instead of pure white. Hopefully they can fix it in a v2.

9,62mm is quite thick for a 34mm watch, to be honest... I think I would prefer the 7mm thin quartz version.

The gen is 8.8mm if I remember correctly.
So actually, the 0.82mm difference between the gen and the rep, even for the 34mm, isn't that big a deal, if guys are wearing rep ROOs with about 1.5-2mm differences.
But to each his own, I get it that our tolerances are all different.

Maybe you are right, yes. I just remember how odd the proportions feel to me on the JF 15450 and this one kind of makes me think of that one. It's a beautiful watch nevertheless and I must confess that I really like a sweeping seconds hand...

Yes proportions are actually important other than just thickness. That’s true. For smaller dial diameters, the same thickness won’t be as comfortable as on a larger diameter watch. You’re right in that aspect.

Not sure if anyone has purchased one of these, but I pulled the trigger on one for the wife few days ago. Gone for the white dial, was really tempted by two tone, so will give my impressions when it arrived in next couple of weeks.

Here’s a genuine question for you: which one do you like best? That one will be the one to get.

Forget about “like gen”. None of these are gens nor will they ever be. But what you like and be happy with it.
