Ordered this for my daughters upcoming 16th Birthday. I did order a DateJust 36mm MOP with diamonds a few weeks ago but my wife wants that now because she thinks its a to grown up watch for a young girl,

I sent payment via Revolut and it went through fine.

QC pics received today. The lume isn't the greatest on it but I have GL as I need the watch for my daughters birthday present very soon.

The watch arrived today but not taken any photos yet as it looks like its DOA, I have messaged Elliot to let him know that the second hand will not move, I have given it a wind but no movement from the hand. I am waiting to here from Elliot to know what he can do as this is a special birthday present for my daughter.

Elliot got back to me and asked me for a video of the watch, I did this for him, wound the watch again to show him that the second hand wasn't moving and then sent the file to him via Whatsapp. He came back to me straight away with options for me to send the watch to his guy in the UK and he would send me another one from China or I could pick a different watch from the UK stock. As I got this reply off him I had put the watch down on my kitchen table and it kicked into life. I have set the time on it now and I will see how it goes for the next few days before I remove all the protection from it.

When you shake it does it make a rattling sound? Maybe something is loose inside and was blocking the second hand movement until it hit the kitchen table?

Something similar-ish happened for me. After I wound the watch, the secondhand didn't move. I gave it a good shake and it started moving. Been with it for almost a month and so far so good! No rattling sounds or anything and everything works well.

I checked it this morning and it was still ticking, nothing is rattling inside i don't think either, I will have to listen carefully to it. I'll give it a wind tonight just to keep it moving and keep monitoring it.

I have finally removed all the stickers now for the watch as it is still ticking, lol. Just taken a few pics and getting it ready for my daughters birthday and I am hoping she will be made up with it for her 16th birthday gift. I know I would have been if my parents gave me a Rolex watch, even though it is a replica. I don't know about you guys but it seems children don't value things as much today as I did when I was her age. Maybe if she can care for this until she is 21 I may get her a gen.

I probably will as she knows I have bought a few watches for myself lately, I will probably say it may be a rep but it still cost us many of hundreds of pounds so please look after it .
