Here are some real questions that lawyers asked to people on the stand from my Law class
Q: You say that the stairs went down to the basement?
A: Yes
Q: And these stairs, did they go up also?
Q:So you were gone until you returned?
Q: She had three children right?
A: Yes
Q: How many were boys?
A: None
Q: Were there girls?
Q: Do you have any children or anything of that kind?
Q: I show you exhibit 3 and ask you if you recognize that picture
A: That's me
Q: Were you present when that picture was taken?
Q: What happened then?
A: He told me "I have to kill you because you can identify me"
Q: Did he kill you?
Last but not least
Q: Do you know how far pregnant you are now?
A: I'll be 3 months on Nov 8
Q: Apparently then, the date of the conception was August 8?
A: Yes
Q: What were you doing at that time?
-Sometimes common sense is not that common-

This is a solid budget, forget the pedestrian stuff such as Omega, Panerai, Breitling and even Iwc, leave these to rep makers.
You can get a proper watch:
...such as a Jeager, most of Master Control line or a Reverso can be easily had either lightly used or even new on grey market. Beautiful classic watch with a pedigree and pride and pride in what they deliver.
Or Zenith, their El Primero chronos are absolutely stunning stuff with great movements.
Or simple Vacheron but you will be getting into their entry level which may not be as exciting as the other two brands offerings in same budget bracket.
Breguet, Glasuttte, and even Blancpain are also nice but I personally don' know enough about them to judge, plus they are part of swatch group which in my view is somewhat less attractive than Richmond or independents.
