The movement is printed, and it‘s not straight. The batons at 12 is also not straight.

IMHO the best is white dial. The blue one is really wrong, even the red color of the chrono numbers. It seems the best rep for this ref. at the moment

I totally agree with you. I had a 5980 blue dial a few years ago, which I sold because for my small wrist it was absolutely uncomfortable and not very elegant precisely because of its thickness. This replica is over 2mm thicker, so I'll wait for other references

Those commenting about thickness, I'd like to say that there was a previous iteration of this watch.

I think it was done by GRF or some other factory and the thickness was somewhere between 16-18mm. Now that's a hamburger!

The current thickness of 14.x mm is similar to the Pelagos and some Omegas and I think it's totally fine as long as all movement functions work like gen. I'd get one! :D

OMF made a rep of reference 5968, thickness 14 mm and I believe with the same movement. In some posts some users said that only the small seconds function works, not the chrono function. Compared to the 5712 v2 PPF , true clone movement, many steps back, decoration in many details is wrong. Too bad, let's hope for a better version 🙃

When I look the photos of this 14mm for me is an hamburger, maybe not a double hamburger like the previous 3kf of 16mm.😁 I enjoy so much the 5711 of 8,3 mm that it's perfect on the wrist, anyway watches are like Saint, everyone has his devoted 😉

Very happy to see this, I literally posted asking what the odds of PPF producing a rep of the new 5990 and 5980 just a couple of weeks ago, glad to see there was one in the works already.

Is this a perfect 5980 (at least, as good as the 5726 or 5712 from PPF) - absolutely not, there are some obvious flaws, most notably in the case design. But is the best 5980 rep we've seen to date? I would say so yes!

It may not be the best rep on the market but it's a step in the right direction. Besides anyone that knows enough about watches to call you out on a fake 5980 will know its fake before getting up close (its a £100k+ watch ffs). Will be interesting to see how this rep evolves over time and I certainly hope the patek lovers will order them to force the factory into creating updated versions whilst addressing the flaws.

IMHO this rep is really very disappointing. The movement is just a decorated movement and the positions of bridges and plates are completely different. 5726 PPF in comparison is much much better and with all functions. Here we don't know if the chrono function is real or only small seconds, with fake buttons. I understand that it could be a first step, but there is already the ref. 5968 aquanaut chrono with the same movement. 2 mm thicker is really too Michel for the proportions of the case of this watch. I saw the 5968 rep OMF, really terrible, a metal box. Let's hope it's very successful and there are other versions. I won't take this one.
