I'm an old guy, pure vintage, and i allways swap the saphire crystal for a domed plexy when i build/rebuild or upgrade my projects.
Verlux 303.472 if it's possible, and now i have just ordered a few samples of domed plexys from Lobtime.com just for fun...
Design and shape of the case is of course important for the harmoni but minor incorrect proportions makes the watch much more personal... just like a true microbrand.
Another thing is the shape/design of the crownguard or camfers, but that is more negotiable because it's handmaded my individuals with a touch of natural variations...
I read in a thread for about a week ago a coment about the camfer on the lug of one of your latest project... I just ignored to reply because i did not had the time to explain the charm of a handmade, handcrafted totally unique piece of beauty.
If all those Hangarrounds had done their homework, reading about the actually watch case, the background and so forth, they could and should salute you for your efforts and commitment instead of being picky...
Instead of "complain" about a detail that makes the case totally unique and special, they have to try to see the whole picture...
Back in the days when Rolex was really handmade, 10 pcs. of the 5513 Submariner in a line, not a singel case was identical to another case... True Handmade...
Keep up the good work and trust your skills and experiences, no matter what...
How much for 2 sets of the 5513 cases incl. shipping fee to Sweden?
