Fellas those thinking of ordering the straps I have some advise. I ordered the watch last month and it's awesome. Then I ordered 2 brown alligator straps - one from Mario and one from our Vietnamese friend. The quality difference (and so the price) is that of day and night. Marios strap looks and feels premium. The vn one arrived 2 days ago and I frankly don't find much difference between the shitty rep strap and this one. I know it's 30 bucks versus 90 euros. So save yourself 30 dollars and just buy the better strap.

I don't wear it everyday, but the gold watches I have (maybe 5-6) ranging from AP, IWC, A.Lange and VC, the gold looks perfect after being worn a number of times.

I just don't know what it would be like to wear daily.

Does anyone has a tip against the rattling noise the movement does, when the hand is shaken? Oiling the movement, maybe?

I expected an audible mov't too but it isn't fortunately.

Is your case back screwed in properly?

Hm yeah i think its screwed properly, but i'll buy some watch tools to check.
When the movement moves in a circle it's silent, but if the watch is shaken (in vertical direction of the movement) then it rattles like a bottle of pills.

This sound should not be ok obviously. Is there something visible thru case back? Maybe a screw comes loose?

But there's no need to buy and wait for some watch tools to check this.

you can open and screw in the case back with a ball of tape or a sticky ball from your kids.

You better shouldn't compare it to a gen or Kaufmann strap. Then Marios strap feels like the shitty rep strap....

Sorry, money counts in the strap scene. Nobody can build a fantastic strap for $50. Not even for $100... Pay $200 or more - and you'll be complete satisfied. Puts the real gen look or feeling to your rep.

Thats bullocks. The VN straps are HEAPS HEAPS better than the rep ones - its real croc and soft as anything (more softer and comfy than some strap makers on here thats for sure and I've bought from most of them). For $30 bucks its a very very good deal. Of course though dont compare a $200 to a $30-$40 dollar strap.

If the effect of dope from last night has waded pls read my note again. I never talked about gen strap. Just compared Mario with vnhandcraft.
