Looking for a good 111

Hello everyone. I am a new member and this is my first post.

I am looking to get a PAM 111. The reasons are: I like the sandwich dial and it has a simple design ( to me that suggests less likely to have obvious flaws)

I see that DSN has one ....

Which appears to be the best value for the money?

Are there other models I should be considering?

Are there any other questions I should be asking?

Are these really water proof or just splash resistant?
