The article I read said the rock gods (Page and Plant) arrived in court wearing Seville Row, fully bespoke suits, with high power attorneys also very professionally dressed. They are taking it extremely seriously.

I also watched as Youtube video where a guitarist plays the intros and breaks down the notes and stuff on the guitar so the average person can hear the differences. George Harrison used the same descending bass notes in his classic "While my guitar gently weeps."

What a load of BS. A total money grab. Zep was a blues inspired band, and the whole blues community borrowed from each other at that time. Spirit is just resentful that they toured together around the same time but nobody even remembers their name today. The main guy isn't even alive! It's his greedy heirs that are doing this.

The Arms tour was special, and a very tough time in Jimmy Page's life. He just lost everything and was smacked out of his mind. Loved the concerts though.

With the testimony and evidence produced, I can't believe this was given to a jury to decide. Over 5 examples of songs with the exact same progression one 100's of years old, and the fact that the plaintiff does not even OWN the rights to the music they claim was stolen?

Waiting 45 or so years for all of this is just silliness and juries aren't always brilliant in rendering decisions. Afterall they are in L.A., maybe they brought back the O.J. jury.

The jury asked to hear both songs 2 times played back to back...and that was it. OVER. This Lawyer will not give up...I got a feeling he will take another shot.
