tinitonsi did you end up GL'ing the watch? I saw that you have some reservations about the watch, as do I around the shape of the case.I received my QC few days ago, the engravings were not there

From the research i've done on chrono24....
To sum it up, the 5167A watch you see on Patek.com is wrong, its a combination of an old 2009 dial, new 2010 and up back with PP seal, and white gold lugs, with stamps
So either someone in the marketing department is lazy, or they are trying to throw of copiers....
Has anyone run into the issue with the chapter ring being shifted one way or the other on this watch? Excitedly ordered the 3K from a usually excellent TD and the QC photos received seem to show the chapter ring issue [obvious at 12 and 6]. FYI - Also ordered the bracelet (and a separate strap) only to have the 750 marking mysteriously/unfortunately appear. Excited to receive QC Photos of the next piece (hopefully the date wheel is as well centered as the one rejected!)
The chapter ring is the marking on the dial that indicates the hours and minutes, they can be in many forms, numbers, roman numerals, sticks etc.It also refers to a train track like arrangement that goes around the dial with separations for the minutes.

Post a photo of the one you rejected. I'm also waiting on QC pics
No I totally agree, the dial is crooked, to the left. I would have rejected that one aswell
Maybe just the picture? It's not centered, the picture is taken with the watch slightly to the left
Thats what I suspected but when the TD was asked for another photo they refused. Received email stating - "Please understand that we are selling replicas and not genuine watches here so please do not start to enlarge the pictures and start to nitpick on the details. QC pictures are meant to verify that ordered item is correct model so we can arrange shipment out."
I have had many great prior transactions with this TD so surprised with the pushback I am receiving - maybe new staff/pressures due to COVID-19? Its a popular model so if the TD wanted to sell to someone else, Im sure it could be arranged.
A couple of month ago my former TD started acting like that, I just switched to another one. Surely it is because we are here among the pickiest buyers out there, making the sale not as easy as it could be for them.Thats what I suspected but when the TD was asked for another photo they refused.
