Where your daughter is
It's possible you might be able to buy the movement. I think Trusty Time has s separate thing where you can buy parts https://ttwparts.com/. Don't know if that includes whole movements but might be worth a try. Otherwise you would buy the cheapest rep with that movement and swap them or have somebody swap them.

By the way, what strap do you have on your watch? Looks great! Hope to see pictures once you get your watch up and running.

Based on the balance position and decorations, it look like a zf clone 9000 which is a 7750, not a VSF superclone movement. Your watchsmith can confirm this. if I am correct, then an eta7750 can be swapped in (chronograph parts removed)nor existing movement serviced. since you seem to like it alot, I'd consider spending the money to swap in an ETA, but you'll loose the decorations.

Thanks for the info. It was sold to me as a VSF, but I never really investigated closely. I do like it a lot. I would guess that it is from around the time that the 382’s were introduced. I do know that the original owner had it serviced and the mainspring was replaced with an ETA mainspring. Actually the decoration loss doesn’t bother me. One question, if it is indeed an a7750 could another a7750 be swapped in or possibly ETA parts to repair my movement should it need repair? At this point, everything is speculation until my watchsmith uncases the movement and inspects it for damage. Hopefully it is a screw jamming the mechanism. It ran for several days after I dropped it.

Assuming it's a 7750 version, then you can have the existing movement serviced, or you could swap in either an A7750, ETA 7750 or sw500. Remember swapping any of these movements in will lose the decoration on the wrist side of the watch.

Hey, sent my watch plus a gen Marathon for a battery change. They were delivered in the 18th. Have not heard back from them. I have left a couple of voice messages, but no response.
I would just keep trying at different hours of the day.

Thanks, I did that and the guy picked up on the first ring! He had just opened the package. He looked at the PAM and told me that he could see something blocking the hairspring. He thinks it will be a pretty simple fix.
