3235 clone tear down

Recently received the new 3235 clone. Was planning on using it on my franken sd43 if it was a true clone. I have gen hands and a gen datewheel for the project.

Unfortunately it is not a true clone like the sh3135 or 4130.

I am no pro as far as movements go just a hobby for me. Calling out to the pros to see what they think or what this movement is possibly based off of.

The date change is not a quick change like gen this one starts changing around 9 pm. I haven’t seen a movement that takes this long to change.

Already had to re set the keyless on it. It’s very weak like some cheap clones I’ve came across. The stem also snapped easily even though I was very delicate with this movement.

That’s about as far as I’ve gone with this movement at the moment. A little disappointed that it is not a true clone, but still fun in this wonderful hobby.

Not bad. It’s around 40hrs. Hopefully noob comes out with one on the level of the 4130. That movement is amazing!

This came out of the DJ 41 we spoke about through PM.

The did a good job with the watch dial is nice. I put it up for sale in the parts section. Probably going to withdraw it. Have new stems coming in to repair the movement, but if I keep it I’ll swap for a different movement.

Thank you for sharing @pelagic.

Unfortunately, the movement's date change mechanism looks bad! The date finger doesn't look like it has any spring and/or tension to propel the date disc to flip quickly - hence this is probably why the date change mechanism takes hours

oh if it's a SA3135, then my video link won't help because my video is only applicable for 2836-2 / 2824-2 movement

unfortunately, I am inexperienced with resetting the keyless on SA3135 movement

Ended up swapping in an eta 2836. Had a custom movement holder made thanks to @longwood.
Used a gen 3136 datewheel as an overlay. Came out really nice also a plus with the quick date function.

Used a extra set I had in my box. These aren’t correct for this model. Ordered a new hand set that will be correct. Just wanted to everything together and see how it would look. Thanks for the response.
