I am not trying to cry or complain I just wanted to give a realistic experience from the perspective of someone that is new to reps. Before I made my first purchase I read over this site quite a bit and it gave me a sense that reps are generally well made and should last a couple years or more. Since that hasn't been my experience I want to share it so others that are like me will have proper expectations.
I do enjoy working on things myself so when I have the time this will be a project. It doesn't seem to be a difficult fix nor do the parts look expensive.
I see, well you could buy this tube to replace the one that got stripped:

I have to tell you, it's extremely rare for a Sub to have a stripped tube, you definitely had bad luck there, I wouldn't give up for one small bump on the road though.
