Well, I have actually been around for awhile. Came here originally to find the perfect 1:1 Sub C rep lol. After researching a bunch, I thought I would try my luck with a Noob Blue Sub C from WBK and a BP Sub C from Ryan. Experience with both dealers was awesome. I received the WBK watch first (CONUS), and was really really happy with it. That is until my Sub from Ryan arrived yesterday. Shipping time was amazing, got here from China or wherever in 7 days. I see a lot of people that hate on BP factory on this forum, so I was really nervous about the watch. I opted for the 2836 Asian clone model, and i'm glad I did. The blue noob sub is 21j, and compared side by side the sweep of the A2836 is noticibly smoother and much more quiet. I really did not have high expectations based on the many things I have read about the BP Factory, but I am more than thrilled with my watch.

On to the review....

(Apologies in advance for the shotty pictures, I am a noob to all of this)

Pros: (In my humble opinion, i'm sure there are many things I may be wrong about)

Excellent date font and mag
AR on date mag is excellent
Rehaut lining is perfect
Crystal height seems to be just right
Rehaut is not wokky
Pearl is awesome
LUME is amazing. Best lume of any watch I have owned (Pics do not do it justice)
Hour and minute hands are correct
Build quality is very nice (Other than below)
Pearl looks very gen to me

Cons:

Bracelet needs some breaking in
Clasp is absolute garbage (Fell apart the first time I tried it on)
Pearl is perfectly center, but not quite level as you can see in the last pic

I have replaced the clasp with a noob clasp for now and all is well.

Thanks again Ryan and RWI for everything!

It looks off in the pictures but doesn't catch my eye at all. And I knew about the OfficiallyCertified going in. Way less of a tell in my opinion than the wrong hour marker on the noob. And only noticeable next to a gen in my opinion.

If there is something better that I have missed please let me know! I am still happy with the watch and I guess that's all that really matters

Ahh dont worry about Alf, hes still fuming from his epic battle with member live1 from the Noob Prototype thread. lol sorry Al.

Look its your watch. All that matters is that you like it and you feel comfortable wearing it. As of now there is no SubC super rep. There are arguments that the Noob Prototype is better and there are arguments that the BP is better. All in all you might be able to get a nice rep by mixing and matching parts from the two of them.

We are all anticipating the release of the Noob Sub C V2 which theoretically should be the so called super rep of the sub c. until that happens we are all just playing a guessing game.

Hey im not on the BP side, if anything i like the hands and thats about it. Other then that I prefer your prototype model. All im saying is watches are quite subjective. I just hate seeing guys so happy with their watches, start a thread and all of a sudden realize that their watch has more flaws than they initially knew about. Once they are pointed out and seen they can not be unseen unfortunately lol

I like the watch regardless of the flaws you guys are pointing out, so don't worry about changing my mind on the watch. I have read enough to know not to expect a 1:1 rep. that being said, I am always interested in learning more and now that I have a watch in my hand (both noob and bp) I'm surprised people prefer the noob to the bp. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong things. The bp just seems like a better watch for some reason. Can anyone tell me where the noob prototype is better than the bp since I haven't seen that one in person yet? Serious question so please don't beat me up to bad

The proto's finish quality is much better than both old noobs and BP. The Pearl is awesome. crystal height, Crown, clasp etc are all closer to the actual thing. Apart from the fat hand and slightly thinner bezel font, it feels like a much more expensive timepiece.
The overall quality for most of us, is far more important than a few minor's that can only be picked up with a loupe or 100x macro.
Enjoy your watch, afterall, thats what its about.

Thanks, so would the proto noob with a hour hand and PPP mod be considered a super rep? If so I wish a TD would put that package together with waterproofing. Seems like someone could make a bunch of money doing that

The V2 should answer all the critics. But you can put money on, something trivial being missed lol

ahh that would take all the fun out of it. But as alf just said the v2 should be all that in a nutshell, but as well as know there is no such thing as a perfect rep ... i believe that would be a gen.

Im pretty sure the v2 will not have the ppp mod by the way. no maker has been able to get that color right thus far unfortunately.

But there is nothing stopping us from investing the money, getting both watches, or just the proto and then source bp hands (Good luck with that) and send to a trusted modder for a total workup.

Like av said before my buddy, been on to Ryan loads about it. Soon as (if ever) the V2 surfaces, and we find out whats different from the "proto" al be having a wee parts package sent with all required bits, and when its away getting its facelift, the bezel will get the PPP so all good. Saying that, maybe just buy a V2 and give the V1 to the Mrs and get my Swiss GMTII-C back in exchange

Have you seen the second BP Sub in person? Apparently there are a few different versions... When I compare my BP to the noob prototype pics in your thread the only difference I can see is the hands. Maybe i'll just have to pick up one of these prototypes to see what all the hype is about.
