2nd order with Trusty

Just placed my 2nd order with Trusty, for a two tone BP Rolex Explorer 36mm 124273.
I opted to “downgrade” the movement to a 2824, as I’m not fussy about a clone movement and it makes servicing/replacement easier in future.
Service and communication have been great so far, and I’m excited to receive the watch as it’s my first gold/two tone rep!

Did you have to ask for the 2824 movement to be swapped in or does BP sell a version with it already installed?

On Trusty’s website there is a drop down box which contains different movement options, so the watch comes with that movement from factory. The listed options for this particular watch are (standard) VR3230, A2824 or A2813

Got it. Thank you. Do you happen to know if BP has the correct Explorer dimensions? 19mm lug width and 19 to 14mm bracelet taper?

I don't in all honesty - I presume so, but unable to confirm until I have the watch in hand.

No, they don't. BP 36mm Explorer and VS 36mm Explorer have this flaw. Bracelet and case is wrong.

Luckily, this isn't something that particularly bothers me, while this is fairly understandable for BPF at the price point, I'm quite surprised VSF have such an obvious flaw @ $518 though!
