2nd order with puretime

After a wonderful experience buying 3 reps from PureTime just last month - I'm back for 3 more.

Link to my 1st PT purchase.

My 2nd purchase:

• < 4/24/23 - confirmed availability of 3 watches via email to [email protected]
  • Rolex Daytona 116518 YG on OysterFlex, from Clean, with specific instructions on OysterFlex sizing needs (D+E)
  • Custom Order - DateJust 2 SS 41mm on jubilee, green patterned dial (3235 movement) [link to competitor]
  • Custom Order - DateJust 2 SS 41mm on jubilee, Wimbledon, grey dial with roman numerals (3235 movement) [link to competitor]
• 4/24 - date of order
• 4/25 - contacted by PT, as promised, within 24 hours with payment instructions via Wise. Payment was easy. 3% discount.

• 5/11-5/16 - QC rolled in. I rejected none of the watches outright. I asked for tuning for 2 of the 3. I asked about smudges or artifacts noticed in the QC images. I asked for verification that 2 of the watches were 41mm and not the 36mm version. Clarifying images sent within 2 days from Puretime. Puretime also verified the OysterFlex sizing choices I had made. All issues rectified quickly. When buyers have issues, they should understand that THIS is the portion of the process that your TD owns. Before this point, the Factory has the ball. After this point, the SHIPPER has the ball.
• 5/17 - Puretime indicated they were shipping on this day
• 5/19 - Puretime provided a tracking number
• 5/26 (today) - in the process of shipment. this is the hardest part, aside from payment (ha).

Stats so far:

time from order to 1st QC = 17 days
time from order to Approved = 22 days
time from order to shipped = 23 days
time spent shipping = xx days
total time from order to delivered = xx days

Hope this sort of post helps future noobs overcome the anxiety of buying a Rep (or 3).

Including a few QC images, just to keep things interesting. No feedback solicited, as decisions have already been made.

• 6/1/23 - delivered. Package was well-prepared for travel. No obvious damage in shipment. All 3 watches tick. 2 of the 3 were still ticking upon arrival, no doubt due to the vs3235 and its "72 hour" power reserve that magically lasted 15 days. ;-)

Final Stats:

time from order to 1st QC = 17 days

total time from order to delivered = 38 days

38 days, same as a few months ago when I ordered 3 watches from Puretime.
