Hello everyone,
I bought a speedmaster 2998-1 that was restored by Omega in the 80s and came out of their workshops with a different bezel, dial and hands than the originals.
I would like to give it a look similar to the 1960 model but the original parts are way too expensive, if not impossible to find. There are aftermarket parts for the hands and bezel, which aged could look like the originals, but I can't find a similar aftermarket dial. The only solution is to call on a dial maker, provided that it is possible.
So I am here to ask you for advice, so thank you in advance.
Eric
ps - Oddly enough, for 2 days I really want to buy a Seamaster, TC Sub, Pam, etc ))

In case you're looking for compatible rep parts, I don't think there will be much to find (if I understand you correctly).

Aftermarket or genuine parts are probably the only options you have since the replica market is completely void of any good and correct manual-winding Speedmasters. Unfortunately there is no Asian chrono movement available at the moment that correctly matches the (very closely together) position of the subdials on the Lemania-based movements from Omega...

Hello and thank you for taking the time to answer me.
I saw that on the reps market there is no satisfactory copy of Speedmaster, the sub-dials being too far apart. Too bad. But maybe the alpha hands of some reps could be suitable ...
So I am looking for someone or advice on aging after-market hands and a bezel.
And for the dial, someone who can reproduce the 1960 dial identically. In France it is called a "cadranier", I do not know the English term.
