i'm really glad to see that the crown tube mod is appreciated and i'm happy i posted the process/result.
nlnlnlnene thanks for the appreciation, though i did this mod for myself i don't think i could do the same for somebody else, as i would be too worried in case i damage it. you see, i'm not a moder myself and i don't have the confidence or the right tools to carry such mod for others. i was lucky i did it and i enjoyed the process but sorry i cannot perform this on other peoples watches. on the other hand, i'd be more than happy to assist anybody who wants to take on such a project with any difficulties you may encounter and i tackled during the process -in writing. i live in greece btw.

Your great mod has encouraged me not to buy a 292 because the difference is now too noticeable lol.
I would love to buy a modded piece though

is there any way to get the pics back up? most of them are displaying as broken links. Id really like to see the pics since i am eager to get this mod done myself on my noob 292j. the extended crown tube is killing me!
