Had this experience also on a new watch. Losing time because the watch stopped randomly. Turned out to be bad balance wheel, The tip was worn out so it wobbled.
Spent 6 dollars on part from china. After a month, spent another 10 bucks to replace it (@ my frequent watch store, so I just paid cigarette money).
Or, it could be just broken movement tab or broken screw head of the movement tab. In that case just open the caseback and take the debris out.
