Wanted to share my comparison photos as well, blue dial 26240 vs 26331
Here are my notes for anybody on the fence for either of these.
APSF- GREAT rep, the flyback movement is really awesome as well. While it is definitely thicker than the 26331, it is still wearable even on a smaller wrist. The blue dial looks amazing, I would like to see the green as well. The fit and finish are pretty damn good, and although the case is thicker the bracelet is thinner so it kind of evens things out. My only gripe is the thickness (to me) and the subdials being far apart look odd to me... but gen looks the same.
APW- This is a really good rep that is slept on, it is just not amazing NWBIG because of tiny flaws which anyone can live with. I like that it has closed caseback due to the movement being a reliable Daytona movement with a date module added, but the downside is the slightly off centered pinions. It is not too noticeable but it is there. The watch is contstructed nicely, and I really like the contrast dial. Dial looks a bit "flat" but I have not compared to gen nor have I seen it in person lately to know if its true to gen. The watch is definitely thinner than the 26240, and to me makes it much easier to wear as I have a woman's wrist on a man's body lol
Overall thoughts: If you hate thickness, get the APW. Me personally would like to live with both, but not sure I can. My TD could not source me a white dial 26331 which to me would be the ideal setup as I do not like the white 26240. It would be VERY hard to choose one over the other honestly, but if you are on the fence it all comes down to your dial preference and if you like to have a thicker watch. My final personal opinion is that the 26331 is just a bit more wearable, cheaper, reliable and looks better as I prefer the contrast dial with subdials that are closer together.
