Dial and size of the case are wrong,
Should be 44mm (mini fiddy), have the reserve marker and a complication on the small second quadrant (if I am right)
Fell free to correct me if I am wrong

However the mvt sound really interesting, a little be surprising that none of the dealer advertised this one before,
I don't know, if it's a fully fonctional mvt...

Let's call th experts...

i know nothing about the mvmt, but i can personally tell you i have dealt with the dealer on many occasions. his service is absolutely amazing and he is regarded as one of the best dealers on i-offer. i would definitely not worry about him scamming you. the watch you see is what you will get....read his feedback. AGAIN, i dont know about that mvmt so i would ask him about it.

That is not a gen movement it is an asain 7750 with fake bridges. look at the hole spacings it is off. Also take note of the text on the case back.

Exactly right. That is the new "8 days" movement which is simply a typical Asian 7750 movement with bridges cut to look like the new gen movement. I am sure it will begin to appear on sale from the standard dealers. Don't hold your breath on the Power Reserve.

Dude, I don't know about the seller but that is a pic of a gen movement. no doubt about it. So what would you think it looks like? How is it that one is showing a gen mov pic for a rep watch sale? Maybe a little suspicious?

like i said previously...i dont know anything about that mvmvt. so you are saying that the rep makers can not clone a mvmt? just because you never saw a copy of this mvmt before does not mean its never been done. all i know is that this dealer is top notch and those pics are what he is selling.

Excellent! I was wondering how they'd tackle the new in-house movement. Very clever, IMO. As an aside, I can't see any reason that these new bridge plates would adversely effect the reliability of the new 28.8 A7750. An excellent solution, IMO.

For true caliber lovers: squint your eyes to avoid getting sick.

This is the saddest "spot the differences" game I have ever seen. Too easy too. Angles, wheels, fonts etc.. 47mm too? Phhlease.

So, no big power reserve in this generation. The saddest thing is that the 'corrected bridges' make this 7750 a manual wind calibre. And then we complain that they didn't add a power reserve too.. Who wants to be a guinea pig? The job comes with the assorted red lipstick and pearls.

Really wanted this to work.
Rant over.
Next.

I must say that I'm impressed with the good rep bridges he's offering. Though it's got no power reserve (and I sincerly doubt that they can make a linear power reserve display in the front retaining the same configuration of the movement on the back) it does the job to be a rep.

Too bad for the big case and not the mini fiddy, as mentioned before.

...also, notice the absence of the horizontal 'saw-tooth' power reserve indicator ?! The dial is a joke, and a real insult to rep collectors like us that are accustomed to good quality pieces recently like Ulti-Fiddy, SFSO, UPO etc...

Real crap job, IMO, but rep noobs asked for PAM233, and rep makers obliged by producing what I'd call in this case - a Canal street rep. :x

The movement is also single barel and not 3-barel like the gen.

Steer away from this one for now, it will take years (if ever) before they make a 3-barel mov't copy worthy of original.

cheers,
babola

it exist 2 types of rep collectors

1. the one which dream from a genuine watch but will not spend so much money and looking for the closest rep... and think he would wear a genuine... but not only his watch is a fake... he is also a FAKE

2. the collectors which loves watches... not important if it is closest to genuine or else... important is the quality and the design...

i am from type 2... and i say:

I LOVE THIS WATCH.

the diameter of 47mm looks better for this design... i saw the genuine in 44mm and thought it is to small. Also i like the dial without power reserve indicator. The most ugly on the genuine is the power reserve indicator.

so for me it is a nice rep... i would wear it and have no problem if someone should ask me: "hey this is a fake... wrong diameter and no power reserve indicator" - YES it is a fake.. but i like it more as genuine :D

i looked at this sellers other offers: he is totally full of shit.
claims the cheapest asian 6497 mvmnts are to be swiss...... asks 219 $ for a watch that our dealers offer for around 120.

his PERFECT Omega PO ( 289 $ ) comes with BASE 2836 ( in no way mentioned swiss)
so its the asian movement......sells for 120 $ as well...
this guy in my opinion is a 100% Bullshitter.
my personal 2 cents

If you love the way it looks than buy it. It is not out of the realm of the possible that someone will go to the trouble to actually copy the movement. Right now people are selling what they got. Given that PAM's in-house movement is GP or JLC technology (can't remember which at the moment but I think it is GP) it will be showing up in a lot of watches including multiple PAM's. There is no question in my mind that the movement manufacturers are well on their way toward multi-barrel longer power reserve movements. The first one which will come is rumored (as has been discussed before) will be the Big Pilot. I am concerned though that it goes the way of the tourbillon where it took multiple generations to get it right. But hey, the last generation Chinese tourbillon is actually more hardy than some of the $200,000 gens. :D
