Looks great! The Santos is just such a nice piece.

On the advice of my dealer I have now cancelled the purchase and received a refund.

What makes me a bit perplexed now, I have already seen QC pictures of GF Santos 35mm models on Reddit over the week. Two of three with great print quality.
Kinda feels like you can get a good print. Maybe it is worth to ask another dealer for the model.

For those who are ordering a GF Santos 35mm, double check the print!

Sorry to hear that GF dropped the ball on the quality of your dial. I got my GF Santos 35mm last year with no issues. Definitely worth waiting for.

You have to do your own QC I'm afraid. If you have any specific questions about things that you do not feel are right reel free to ask for second opinion but you are not allowed to ask your watch to be QC'd by another member.

:yes: I think that looks absolutely smashing and I would be a contender for the 2 tone dial with the metallic numerals. I really looks to me in my opinion, a different league ahead of the white dial.

So, I just ordered a GF 40mm Santos. Really hope the printing issue is only a problem on the actual 35mm batch.

the low tier strap is no problem because I want to order a Ziczac Croco one later anyways.

The geb Santos 2018 thick is 9.08mm isn’t it? am I right it is this thing nearly twice this size?

That tool is wrong. All my Santos models (KOR, GF, V6F) are approximately 10 mm

You are right, I asked him again and he said there was a problem with his caliper. I first thought this might be a Santos 100 but this also shouldn’t be a lot more than ~10mm thick.

unfortunately the watch had a few flaws so I‘m waiting for the next one.

you have to send them your bracelet / strap so they can use the quick change system of it for the new strap. at least the 40mm comes with a pretty shitty rep strap so I just will send them this one - just not sure which color I will chose yet.
