Anyone checking out the VC world time on trusty? I've been toggling back and forth between the rep and the dealer site. Case, bezel and center map look pretty good. The glaring issue is the number ring. On the rep it's a 12 hour ring vs. the gen on a 24 hour ring. If you look at the watch the dials are layered on each other so they can spin as the times are adjusted. They got a bunch of things right on this one, what a silly error. Too glaring to buy.

Hi mate - not sure about what you mean with 24 hour ring on the gen. I saw some pics of the gen and the rep looks to be ok.

the issue is the hour ring. The rep is 12 one hour ring. The gen is set up for a 24 hour ring. That's the only way a world timer would work.

look at the hour ring. It's an insert, the watch is made so all rings rotate to adjust for time differences. I don't care about the functionality as this is far too complicated for a rep but to get this wrong is just plain silly

Got it! I was referring to the regular Overseas and not the World Timer. A friggin glaring mistake on this - but an easy fix for the factory though!
Agreed they can fix this issue very easily, but will they? This can be a fantastic piece once fixed. It also needs a small triangle laser end into the case at 6:00. The. This this looks like a home run. I wonder if a good Modder could fix these issues. Might be a fun project

Agreed with all of your points, and then put this on a Miyota 9015. I'd pay for it only if they matched the gen's 28800bph. This 8215 nonsense needs to be fixed.
Such a shame on this watch. It could be so great. Why 12 not 24? Why not 9015.

Such a shame about the number ring. Honestly, I would have preferred it stayed faithful to the gen even if they put in a 12hr movement. Who wears their watch to tell time, anyway? [emoji57]
