This statement comes from puretime. Two weeks earlier i tried to order the red one with rose (on website in stock) and get a rejection
Guys, here are some pics of the OLD gen (rose logo) VS NEW gen (shield logo) fresh from the AD 
These are pics of the black one but applies to all colors of course. As I mentioned in my first/opening post, the increased thickness is due to the new in house movement and only affects the case back cover (now it is domed while it was simply flat previously), other than that they use exactly the same case. Having said that, that additional ~2mm bump causes to sit higher on the wrist (just like crpos imo) and makes a big difference if you have small wrists. Onto the pics (sorry, I only took side shots and with my phone...so not the best quality but should do the trick). Rose on the left...
