Got it! It looks great, the dial is stunning. One thing that caught my eye right away is the crystal looks like it has AR coating, or a tint to it at least. It is noticably different than the TC crystal that used to be on my v6. I took a few quick shots, they aren't great but it's something.


The other watch is my v6 with gen insert, gen lec crystal, and TC yachtmaster hands.

Oh my, it may be the camera but that crystal looks sharper than the gen, I may have to pass my newly bought gen crystal on now m2m now haha. The whole watch is criiiisp. LV dial looks great as does the case finish. The insert markers at 5,15,25,35... run a bit far to the edge but wow!

I won't say the crystal is better than the gen because it's not, but TC has made improvements to the crystal. I can't tell if it's real AR coating or not but it sure looks like it. I think it looks really good too.


I haven't put my LV on yet, I'm not sure if I'll even keep it lol. After seeing it though I might not be able to part with it lol.

I got mine last Monday its been great also. I don't think the crystal has ar but the cyclops does.

Highly doubt TC started using AR coated crystals without announcing it first.

Plus, they wouldn't be period correct for either model.

the New LV looks great guys and the rehault looks really good!
Talk with TC this morning and he said he didnt know for sure when the new LV inserts inserts would be done.....and he also been waiting on other parts as well! He will be back to work soon second week of January

Put my v6's bracelet on temporarily while the new bracelet gets the oil treatment. The more I look at this the more certain I am that the crystal has AR coating. I know it's not correct for the watch but it looks great. I've had a lot of watches with AR'd crystals so I'm not some noob that's never seen AR. The only reason I'm hesitant to be 100% sure is because it hasn't been stated by TC or anyone else that I've seen.


Anyhow, here's some more pictures. Some are intended to show the blue crystal tint.

I welcome AR or whatever it is, as long as it looks great. Period correct, Really.. How many genuines are out there with incorrect parts? I think a crap load!
