2014 new dssd from noob pics

It looks and feels 20 times better than any of the old noob dssds I had in the past. Bezel looks gen, no play. Dial print crisp. Overall look and feel very gen like. Bracelet looks ******* awesome

So would you recommend a change from a BK DSSD to the new 2014 Noob?

IMO , the noob new DSSD version feels better than the BP version.
for extra $100~, the inner rehaut engraving , semi invisble LEC, better pearl .

Yes the bezel is gen construction. Chiman over on RG posted disassembled photos if your interested in jumping over to take a look. Apparently the gen bezel assembly it's not a 100% simple swap but it's suppose to be extremely close. He did it on his Franken.

Wish the TDs will get together and decide what to call this version. Is it V2 (Shinewatch), V3 (Toro Bravo), or just do away with versions altogether (Puretime)?

I think this new DSSD is a break thru and the fact, it has super luminova making it near gen DSSD like with a improve bezel pearl, bezel insert but just seeing the engrave wording(Original gas escape valve, Ring lock system)instead of printed on ruins everything. From one look, it will be a massive give away its a rep. I gonna wait for V2 or improvement over this point before gonna get one. Anyway, this one is still a nice DSSD rep.
My impression is that the gen is also engraved. Just not a deeply. I doubt Rolex would do anything printed like that. If you do some images searches you can see evidence of the engraving on the gen.

First series gen dssd has it engraved too. Lume on the rep fades to completely gone aka no glow whatsoever within a few minutes

I didn't see the engrave from that video. At first I didn't noticed about the non engraving printing of the gen DSSD until a gen owner pointed out. And I doubt Rolex will use some cheap printing for the wording. The wording shall be quite lasting. Plus the wording suppose to be protected by the thick crystal. In real life, it suppose not to fade off easily.
The deep engraving of the rep DSSD wording can easily give itself away in lighted area with a quick close glaze.
