I know this is a U.S. car and everyone like exotics, but give credit where credit is due. Mine ran the 1/4 mile in just over 10 seconds at 138 m.p.h. 0 to 60 was in the mid 4 sec. a/c and all creature comforts!
Only $40k invested. 632 hp at rear wheels, 583 foot pounds of torque. Driving a car with these numbers is a totally different experience then when it was stock. It was fun but a real police magnet!
Any one else have their own supercar?

thats alot of HP that thing is pumping, but $40,000 would get me a real nice BMW M3, just preference, but still mate, nice ride!

I have my own little supercar, its a silverlit RC ferrari Enzo

completely and perfectly ratiod, to 1/18 scale, if you were to multiply the RC cars top speed to the real things top speed, it should be exactly the same, same story with the turning circle and reverse speed

That 40Grand is more fun to spend on something you are passionate about, eh? When the Grand National came out I dreamed of owning one but I out grew it. Still a bad ass car though.

I remember spinning out in my friends 5.0 back in '88. I'm sure with 632 hp ... I'd still be spinning.

I have wasted too much on cars! Have had many more, but the last 4 below from current back to 2002.

Current 2007 Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo with 330rwhp (ECU flash only)-

carside.jpg

2008 VW Polo GTI with 170fwhp (ECU flash only) (had to move this on when I found out child #2 was coming!!)

VW1.jpg

2005 Subaru Forester XT with >240awhp (brought this new, stock and proceeded to do lots to it. I really should have kept it and not sold it. But live and learn!)

Foz300508-2.jpg

1999 Subaru WRX with >260awhp (money hole in the 26 months I owned it!!!! But lots of fun also!)

Now with having two children spending cash on cars it not high on the list of things to do. Least my wifey lets me have something of interest as my daily!!

Cheers all.

I was an inch from ordering a MK Roadster from Factory Five, I bought a 331 with all forged internals, Tremec TKO 600 tranny and already had a Vortech S-1 blower. I rode in one that was making close to what yours is and was like strapping a rocket to your butt!
All nice rides guys!

One other thing I forgot to mention about the 03 Cobra. All the engines for these cars and the new GT500's are all hand built. There is a plate on the valve cover with the names of the two men who built my engine. I did alot of research before I bought the car, joined a forum and read a book called "Iron Fist, Lead Foot" by John Coletti, a very good read.
The cars code name was Terminator

Nice, clean Mustang. I bet that thing sounded sick, like the devil gargling hot sauce.

My father has a C5 vette. Very nice car. I'm not a huge domestic guy per se, judging by my username you can probably guess where my loyalties lie. But I can appreciate any nice car, and that is definitely one!
