Hi everyone.
First of all I'd lke to say thank you to everyone who runs and contribute to this site. It's amazing and made my first watch buying experience a better informed and pleasant one.
I'm posting here so hopefully I won't have pertrol poured over me and set alight for posting the right stuff in the wrong place...Excuse me if I get the lingo wrong when describing the parts of the watch.

This post is a confirmation of the great service provided by Steve Onewatch and to show a couple of pics of the watches.

I joined the forum a short while ago and found Steve Onewatch's details in the TD section and also read lots of threads in which other members shared their positive experiences with Steve.
I Whatsapped him and he replied within half hour. I double checked it was him by sending him and email. I asked lots of questions over a couple of days, and he patiently answered them all taking time to explain the process and discuss the finer questions I had concerning the watches quality, appearance and availability.
I eventually decided to go with the BVF SS/YG and KOR SS 27mm Cartier Panthere's, with extra links for both watches.
Paid a $50 deposit via paypal F&F and Steve set the wheels in motion.
A week or so later he emailed the QC. The QC images were of high quality allowing a decent zoom in to see the finer details along with a video. Everyting was good. Gave the OK, paid the balance and the watches took 2 weeks to arrive in UK. Very well protected and packaged. Very pleased with them.

The Cartier panthere SS 27mm (Medium) is based on the 2022 re-release of the Panthere with the polished SS bracelet, case and bezel trim. Very good quality imho.
The Cartier panthere SS/YG 27mm is the same watch with 2 rows of polished YG links with 3 rovs polished SS links and a YG polished gold bezel trim and Crown, essentially the same watch, though I'm not sure if it was released in this polished steel case.
I highly recommend Steve OneWatch. He always replied, sometimes instantly, other times the next day.
Every step of the process he asked for my approval before moving forward.
Maybe this post will help others have the confidence when buying for the first time.

I am planning to sell the SS/YG the gold is a bit bling for me after trying it on. I love the SS :)

I’d like one for my collection but I fear 27mm is too small. My gen Santos is 29mm and I don’t want smaller than that. I wish the factories would make the next size up because I do admire this model too

Yep, it's strange that the factories don't make the large version. I got the 27mm thinking 2mm wouldn't make too much difference but it looks quite a bit smaller when held next to another 29mm (very poor replica panthere I have).
Fortunately for me I have very small wrists so it actually looks more proportionate than the larger one.
Also the pantere is more like a cross between jewellery and a watch, the bracelet being the crossover point, imho.

You never know, maybe some time this year they’ll decide to make one. I’ve put in the request with two dealers I have two final slots in my box to fill. I’d be interested in a two tone and an all gold one. I once knew a guy who has those two in gen.

The panthere is making a comeback. It's a very rock and roll watch as well a very elegant and understated.

When I was much younger, one really had it made, “arrived” if he had a Panthere and a Datejust. It was kinda like having a Cadillac and a Lincoln in the garage back when what’s already a long time ago. I guess I’m pursuing the status symbols I admired when growing up

I guess anything in the 'luxury' dept carries a heavy status symobolism. The Panthere for me is a timeless piece of design perfection. The rep SS is so close the the gen that it was a no brainer to go with the rep. Where I live one runs a high chance of being 'relieved' of one's time piece when wandering around the streets of London. Losing £250 isn't as painful as £4500. The 27mm isn't ostentatious or stand out, most would assume it was a cheap watch unless they knew the model.

I wonder how a 27mm would look on me. I only have a 29mm Santos Galbee to see for perspective. I know a 31 would be just fine so that’s why I wish the factories would make one

Nothing like riding in a coach sized seat, on your chartered jet to make for a good laugh! would have loved to been on that trip. Great watch shot, looks like a BVF version :)

Congrats ! And good review. I'm happy you posted it.

Indeed, these are making a comeback. 27mm is too small for my taste but I'd wear the larger ones without hesitation!

I love both! They look fab. I’m very new to watch reps. Handbag reps have been hobby/obsession for the past couple of years. (I’m interested in the two-tone, if you ever decide to sell it. I assume this can be worn by women.) I keep an eye out for TDs with UK stock, but it’s mostly Rolex. Anyway, the Panthere is my dream watch! Enjoy.
