Placed my first order from PT on early morning (EST) February 27 - payment was confirmed this morning. So far communication and service appears to be top notch. I'm excited and patiently waiting for my new orange UPO 45mm.

I bought that same watch from them last summer. Beautiful watch and keeps time within 10-15 secs a day. Quite pleased with it and dont get concerned when it holds to clear customs in China for a week, it is normal. Good luck!

Early this morning I received my high resolution QC photos.

Please take a close look and let me know of any problems, as small as they may be, I'm curious to see all the flaws.

I know the watch isn't perfect but I want to make sure there is no major defect of this watch vs. same replicas.

Good HE valve, no happy feet on the logo.

For me the only tell might be the serial on the back (on one of the lugs) but from the photos I cannot tell whether it is there or not.

Regardless - nice watch, should look outstanding with the orange strap.

For me it does look perfect ... even the perl is almost at the correct position.
The back also looks very good.
I assume it is a Swiss ETA 2824-2
Just go for it .. very good choice and a trusted dealer ...

I actually thought to switch it to black. I don't think there is a similar gen orange strap. What do guys think? stick with the orange or go with black?

Everything looks good. The pearl is indeed off a tiny bit, but you won't notice that at all on your wrist.

IMO the OE orange strap looks great, it's what I currently have mine on. I've also purchased a black kevlar Maratac strap with orange stitch that will look killer...I'm not a fan of the plain black OE rubber.

easiest tell is that the real one hooked up should read at 25,200 bph

2nd round of QC photos

Angus was kind enough to switch the UPO with a more "accurate" version, a better bezzel allignment with the logo and 12 o'clock.

I guess this is as best as they come. I can see the pearl is still slightly off, Please tell me what do you think is it a better alligned watch vs. the one I had on page #1 of this thread?

Go for it. It looks great. i just got mine today also from PT. everything looks great!

Oh and the pearl being crooked i think depends on your luck. i got mine and it was crooked, but i pushed it with my fingernail and it got straightened out just fine.

mine was missing a movement holder tab and screw, which i had spares for so that's ok. i got mine at lunchtime today and tomorrow it's off to Takashi for the AR coating, DW mod and i'll see if i can get a Gen dial and handset.

this evening i just managed to resize the bracelet with no grief. pins came out nice, tapped them back in and all was good. i'm so far happy with this one.

the only tell i can really see easily on the 45.5mm UPO is the lack of a beveled date window and the wrong skinny date font. the rest don't really bother me. not even the weak lume. Still i might go for a gen dial and handset just to get that beveled date window and the right gen datewheel

this watch is a great base for a franken project!
