1675 milk build help

Something that I’ve just noticed; looking through gen 1675s, it would seem there are a quantity of gen watches with non flush fitting crowns. In fact, I’m now seeing more and more as I look. Of course, it could be that these have replacement tubes, or that the crown doesn’t always sit flush on a gen either;

deadpan glad you noticed too, and the watch you took as an example makes this even more evident.
I've been saying for years that gens have many more imperfections than our builds, crowns not flush, bent inserts, missing pearls, bad fitting endlinks, uncentered dates and so on. I think all these little imperfections contribute a lot in giving the watch a genuine look, after all they are exactly this: the result of years and years of wear and sometimes tear.
