Yup, would be good to see more pics. Even QC pics.Anyone receive one yet?
Agree 100%it's rediculous that the factories can't get these ROs right. they are releasing these pieces for years now and they still deliver sh... after sh... they got it decent with the divers, why not here? they should focus more on quality than releasing 100 of different rep versions... i think most of us would be willing to spent a fair premium for a decent version of this. just my 2 cents. i'm really getting frustrated with the ROs...
This is my first posting to the forum, but I have several gens and reps. Today I received my new JF 15450 from Noobwatch (Tony Chen; my second from him, the other being a perfect JF Rolex Yachtmaster. Tony is a very good dealer in my experience. Good qc photos, good communication, proper packing, quick arrival.)
The 15450 is gorgeous - better than any photo can show; yes, it has a couple of shortcomings: the dial print font is not quite bold enough, and the date window is slightly rectangular instead of square but these are minor quibbles in the big picture. The tapisserie is stunning , the case and screws beautifully finished (and case thickness is not an issue at all on my small wrist), the movement looks fabulous, the rotor is silent, the winding smooth ( this is the Miyota 9015), the second hand sweeps smoothly, the crown is properly finished...overall, it is a typically excellent JF rep despite the minor things just noted. You can find flaws in any rep if you look hard enough but the truth is that on the wrist they have to be pretty major to show. There is nothing about this watch on the wrist that says anything but AP. It is a very dressy watch - the way light plays on the band and the case and the dial - beautiful! The band screws were treated to a drop of WD40 and 3 minutes later came out with no problems at all.

Well, I haven't been able to post photos because my feeble brain cannot tell how it is done - and the Help blurb on how to post photos also left me puzzled. On other forums the "go advanced" selection allows you to browse and select files, including photos, and to upload them. That is not possible here. Instead one is directed to load the photos to Photobucket - so far, so good, done - and that is where I get stymied. So the beautiful 15450 which is on my wrist as I write is mine alone. If someone can clarify the procedure for posting photos, I'd be happy to do so. It can't be that difficult because so many others do it - I just seem to be missing a crucial step.
More "worth nothing" information: this JF 15450 has kept perfect time in the last 24 hours - more accurately than the A2836 in my JF Yachtmaster. I should revise one statement I made in my original posting. The Miyota 9015 rotor is not silent as it does its work but you can only hear it if there is total silence around and you listen closely. In fact I like hearing it do its job.

Damn! The 1540 in black looked really nice. Anyone know if they surfaced to the market yet, and whom I can buy it from?!
This is my personal opinion: go for the 15400 unless your wrist is really super small. Even for me, all my friends say that the 15400 looks better on my wrist although it is obvious that 15450 sits better.Blue dial looks amazing. I really don't know what to buy now....15400 or 15450....
Great work JF![]()
