Yes mate those are Gen parts
Experts, is that neccesery go on the 630$ version to build my franken?
Yup. Originally I wanted to buy this dial to swap with the matte blue in my noob so I asked smoke his opinion on it and he said the blue was still wrong and looked too purple.

The $630 version still has the pale gold that looks fake. The only reasonably decent version is the high dollar version Josh sells. ($938) It does have the more accurate gold and most importantly the sel sides aren't bare, they're gold. It's the only one I've seen that has that in the 116613 style. The dial and bezel insert can be modded to be more accurate. Is almost a grand too much? It all depends on what you want and how accurate you want to be. You can go with the lower priced version and have glaring flaws, if it doesn't bother you. (There's no good reasonable option for a better bracelet either. A gen if you can find one is at least a couple grand.) Bottom line from someone who's done this before is a good solid TT rep that can pass for gen unless closely inspected is a couple grand to build. (Minimum) That's why you don't see many out there. It makes a TC or Franken Sub look comparatively inexpensive. It's like the old adage with cars... How fast do you want to go? How much money do you have?
I didn't say that, I said the gen dial is not matt blue like a smurf it's sunburst![]()
Nope, both TC and BK have them. At least BK used to have them. TC has the dial and hands for $100.
Here it is. The dial and insert are utter crap. Know going in they need to be replaced. Thanks for the answer
Can you please poat a link to the 938$ version?

Dear Versaceboy54 , finally - and thanks:thumbup: Meaning you are on 153-ish grams fully linked. I might hold my purchase in light of this new fact.

Generally all the current blue TT reps have purplish dials. After I took the markers off my old BP I took this picture. Hard to believe how the light changed the dial. Best bet is to swap in a WM9 blue dial (after the markers are changed) you can get from BK or TC.
There are two different dials for the 116613. (in terms of color / effect)
One which is matte blue like the Smurf and another one that is sunburst like the pre ceramic Bluesy.
I know the old one is the smurf style blusey
My mate had the gen
Yeah bro all good. I only just now seen you guys were talking about the 16613 being sunburst only. I can only +1 that!![]()
I have the TT vlue and im in love with it. I used modelers paint and very fine fiber brush to color the side of the kidlink on the sel and inbetween on the bracelet and it looks gen. The tightness on the sel on mine is spot on as are the blue color. The pearl is great. The bezel markers are perfect and im really happy I didnt spend 12k..lol! Im sure under a syper macro there are differwnces on the dial print but on the wrist it looks completely gen..oh and by tge way the wrap is also on the bezel..after I learned this I gave the watch a polish and it looks amazing..I will tey to post some pix later but ive never posted pics before so wish me luck..great watch imo but I may have just gotten lucky in qc.
