Dear All,

I just bought, off this forum, a VSF 126610LN, and I was intrigued about how it would stack up against a GEN one, so I borrowed on and took a couple of pictures... The owner was not able to spot the differences (of course, not a trained eye).

What amazed me was the weight...using a kitchen scale, both weighed 158g... spot on.

Pictures are not perfect, but eyes are not perfect either from 1 meter distance, meaning the watch on the wrist.

Gen Is on the right?
Indeed... for me (trained eyes will detect more failures), the main difference is there's a subtle yelowish cast on the bezel numbers on the VSF (especially under certain poor light conditions). Gen's look whiter.
Also, the engraved ROLEX letters in the insert also look sharper on the flesh.

On daylight, from a meter distance, they absolutely look spot on (for the untrained eye).
Also, the feel on the wrist, is identical. A different matter is operating it, the feel is completely different (but nobody else do that for you)

Well
The only (naked Eye) tell Is the Crystal actually.

Everything else (even for the trained at a certain distance...even close) Is Just Amazing.

Thanks for sharing

I am not that sure about the crystal, it's probably the different level of reflection because light was coming not uniformally. On the flesh, I didn't notice such difference on the actualy crystal. But I did notice some small blue tint on the cyclops that doesn't seem to appear on the GEN

Vsf subs look great
And for sure they are the best on the market.
For a fraction of the cost they give a lot more.
I recently brought an Hulk... impossible to find at a decent price and condition on the grey market...
I can't wait to receive It.
I Will surely post some pictures of It once I have my hands on It...

A great comparison mate, these are just so close, that little or no mods needed at all,,

Just last thing I've noticed, the VSF I bought came with an ARF bracelet (clasp code 1LD), that, supposedly, is on the best bracelets for reps, but GEN one looks different, more matte, depending on the light with some goldish (really really subtle) aspect.... Warmer I would say... the bracelet on the rep is somehow colder.
Also, the crown on the clasp, being quite accurate, is less "refined", especially at the tips, that are much much cleaner on the GEN. But, again, that's splitting hairs. It'c comparing two pieces of manufacturing where one them costs 20 times much. That's a lot to justify on the machinery only (as material... quite a philosophical/materialistic topic

The hands look better on gen and date font is slightly thinner on vsf but you would have to really know where to look to spot these differences. For an average watch enjoyer absolutely no way of distinguishing between gen and vsf.

Certainly the VSF has its flaws, but considering what you get for a fraction of a gen, it is remarkable. 99% will not nearly recognize it is a rep when it is on your wrist.

My VSF Sub 126610ln only weighs 152g and I wonder why? It’s a 2024 but I don’t know what that would have to do with anything. I got it from a trusted dealer whom I do trust and the watch is absolutely beautiful. The only thing that throws me off is why mine seems to weigh 4 to 6 g less than what I see other people say.
