126519 Mini Comparison - VSF V2 Weighted vs. BTF

I think BT is superior. Clearly the dial and finishing is superior. Probably also the VS finishing is impacted due to the tungsten case, which has worse finishing than Steel. However, BT is a TAD bit gray.

Considering price of BT and VS is equal. VS is only worth if you buy the cheap 4801 one for fun.

The real question is the comparison to Clean...

Would you say that Clean is better? I feel like the BTF dial's sunburst is a bit too strong and the dial color is darker. I'm looking for a non-plated 126519 or Le Mans but the ghosts seem to have inaccurate dial/plated/SH movement, and the Le Mans is also SH so I'm kinda lost :L

You want Le Mans? QF is the way to go based on my opinion stock. This is based on my taste for the bezel and the dial sunburst being better on QF. Clean is a better overall base and quality but also more expensive. My dream build would ideally be Clean base + QF dial.

Regarding ghost, I agree that Clean is superior in almost every Daytona dial (note I say dial only). And dial color and finishing and printing is stuff only left for watch nerds, most people do not criticize or notice the nuance too heavily on these ones. Clean is almost the most expensive of all factories, so one must evaluate what they want overall. It's a game of choice.

If it's a daily wear - Clean + Deep if you ask me. But maybe like me I have a 40+ watch collection, I'll probably get a cheaper VSF 4801 for fun.

I care less about the accuracy and more about the quality. I'm trying to stay away from plated watches like QF's Le Mans and VSF Ghost for daily wear because I know it will eventually flake off. If I can get confirmation with proof that Clean 126519 uses DD4131 and not SH4131, I'll buy it in a heartbeat. But I'm getting mixed signals from different TDs .

Clean's rolling out with DD4131 but loads of old stock SH4131. So if you're patient wait 6 months and then it'll be fine. If not you need a TD that is willing to source and also show movement pictures. Maybe Steve or CTime is your best bet.

They did use SH4131 in the past so buying m2m you could look out for that. Some TDs may have old stock so just ask the TD to confirm, but Ctime has confirmed numerous times they have all switched to DD. Only exception is the 126529.
