I am considering buying my first REP and I am undecided between the Sub no date (like the one in this review) and the Sub date. I think that in terms of similarity to the GEN the sub no date is closer, am I right?
I am more inclined to get a VSF for the crystal and the movement.
Oh one thing, it's been a while since i study on the forum and I noticed that even the GEN has the serial number that is not aligned.

Fantastic post and interesting read. I suspect a VSF 124060 is in my future. Maybe we'll see a youth version with a 2824.
Does anyone know who makes the most accurate Smurf, Clean or VSF, in terms of getting the colour correct.
Can anyone tell me if a deep crystal for a 124060 is compatible with the CF gasket. I have seen the crystal on deepcrystal.net, but it doesn't appear to come with a replacement gasket.
I have also seen them available on Ali with the gasket, but am unsure if these are genuine deep crystals.
Any advice on where is best to purchase?

Alix is fake deep, buy from xing the source
About gasket, you need to do research. My gut says it works but I make no promise. All my Deep swaps I used stock Clean gaskets
