Thanks for the info. Learned another new term. Does anyone know of a side by side comparison between the two? I have read that the reps LEC are much bigger but then the site never shows the watch auto they could be using canal street watches as a basis for comparison. I've a few rep LEC and they don't look too big but a nice macro shot should take care of it.

No doubt there are many pics, I was hoping for side by side so one can really see the size difference, when dealing with something so small any misjudgment will skew the accuracy. Don't know if I'm getting my point across.

I don't think I'm getting my point across either. Don't be so damn lazy, this is something that takes about 10 seconds to do. If you already have a rep with an LEC then google a pic of a gen and compare.

its not about being lazy its just not as accurate. Yeah sure I will be able to tell they are differnt, but how different are they is the question and takes side by side pics for something so small. Just to make sure you're not looking at different angles, different distance, etc...

If you don't have the side by side pictures that's fine, this was just a general request as I know that there are members who own both gens and reps.

They're not exactly changing up the construction as they release more versions. It's exactly the same as the current noob subs and we won't see a change until they decide to invest the time in creating a new super sub case set.

Well i changed the fat hour hand tonight, and it looks much better now! next step is installing a TC date wheel and superlume the dial and hands and pearl. will see for a ARed cyclop later. I ll post somes more pics soon and keep it updated when i changed the date wheel and superlumed the watch... it is a nice project i think and when it ll be done it ll be for sure the best LV rep out there at this time. I am glad the noob factory made a so nice dial! this is the most important thing i think. in sun light it is just fantastic. this is a great daily beater trust me!!!

Where did you get the hour hand from? Do you or anyone else know whether it's possible to get a gen crystal in this one?

Hour hands can now be bought on ebay from helenarou. They have taken a bunch of the slim hour hands and relumed them blue and sell them with minute and second hands for the eta 2836-2. They're 19 bucks shipped for the three hands.
