Pelagic nice hulk mate! Are the v9 markers better? Is the v9 dial available from TDs in order to take the markers? May i know who did the mods on them? Thanks!

Thanks.

I ordered a BP dial removed the markers and installed the gen markers myself. The bp dial had to be drilled to accept the gen markers.

He cannot round the edges of the marker, I did try to get him to. He doesn't remove the dial markers, he works on the dial with markers attached as there is a risk of spoiling the dial lacquer in the process. It cost me $275 for the dial and handset excluding shipping. I think it is worth only if one has a good base dial to work on i.e. for the Hulk which are far and few. The A2836 dials are terrible. Mine is luckily one of the better Noob 3135 ones as per the man Smoke himself. Perfect font size and spacing, the font color isn't crispy white like gen, it's slightly dull. Here is my stock rep before any mods next to mech500's erstwhile gen:

Thanks, a quality of the video kills it, but on some photos the colour is warmer.
Good to know he mods the markers when they are on the dial, with lume inside (I assume). I used to think that rhodium plating is some kind of electro plating and it will destroy the lume.
Pity about a rounding the edges of the marker, I feel this is a number one upgrade we need for the rep dials.

What is a ballpark cost of the gen markers?
Just wondering is it cost-wise to remove, round and relume the rep markers..

I picked up a damaged dial off eBay with the markers intact. Drilled the gen markers out as they are laser welded. Actually picked up a few. Next up I’m doing a 126600 dial to match the gen hands.

For simple rhodium plating you can use this:

It does not affect lume.
