116610 LV Noob V8 and V10 differences?

Hi, I am new to these forums and the rep watch game. I have been trawling these forums for a few days searching for the best version of a hulk for me within the budget I would like to spend of around £300.

I have been on the InTime website as my friend has used this site and received great service.
These are the two versions I have found and would like someone with better knowledge's opinion of the two noob versions below:

I'm presuming obviously the V10 will be better but is it superior enough to justify the extra cost?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and personal pictures of either of these versions would be fantastic.

Not 100% sure about the hulk, but on the LN V10 Noob, the main difference is the platinum coating on the bezel insert numbers is improved and more gen-like. The pressed the pearl instead of gluing it down. Honestly, if you can get the V8 for a good price (they are on sale now), I'd go for the v8.

However, the best hulk atm is the ZZF V2S, which I would highly recommend. Slightly more expensive (528$ ish) and has a 3135 which will likely need to be service. Depending on your budget + willingness to service the watch, this may be a good option

V8 is the same watch like V7 but made of 904L steel.

Bezel assembly is the greatest difference between V8 and V10.

If I was in your shoes on the hunt for a nice Hulk, I would have checked ZZF V2S first or VRF MAX.

I have looked into the VRF Max but with delivery it is coming in at around $400 so slightly above what I want to pay.

Would you say the extra $100 is justified over the Noob V8?

BP factory sucks. Plus it has a sa3135 so slap on another 100 to 150 for service of movement.
the VRF max looks much better but it seems price is an issue for you. I would suggest VRF personally.

Noob has the genuine like case than VRF.

So Noob v10 is not a bad option since they are offering a better price now.

FYI: If you want the best rep at the moment go for ZZF V2S (it has better bezel and dial)

Wait until you have enough money for the ZZF. Buying a shitty rep that your probably not gonna be happy with, just to save a few bucks, seems like a bad idea.

the ZZF out the box, is an amazing rep, and later on, if you wanna do some light mods, you can, and the end result is going to be awesome.

i got one with a Gen crystal and ARF clasp, and it’s so close to my gen that it’s ridiculous.

read the big ZZF / Noob / ARF tread and make up your own mind

Everyone has an opinion based on their own beliefs and values. No one is 100% right or 100% wrong.

If you're serious about making a choice between the Noob V10 and the VRF consider this......

Check out thewatchguy's photos above. Many people paid full price for those noob reps. Neither will be available forever at their current prices. They are both very nice reps and unless you put them next to a gen and knew the differences you'd be hard pressed to know which was which. The 2836 movement is arguably the most reliable rep movement available. The noob V10 at $338.00 is a bargain and with the reliable 2836 movement there's a good chance OOTB it will keep one happy for several years.

For what it's worth I agonized over the variables as have you. Unlike you my budget is less restrictive. Still all things considered, including the price, my choice is the V10 w/ 2836. ( I might even settle for the V8 and spend the rest on something else)

I have a V8s LN and I am happy with it... Consider that a rep even if look like a Gen is still a rep... So if I can save some money for something good like a V8s I will go with it, that's my point of view. Cheers

I would save for a bit and go for the ZZF if I were you. Don’t nickel and dime and settle for a lesser watch. You’ll get the cheaper watch and eventually see what the other members were talking about and will want to upgrade.

sostanzialmente, da quello che ho capito io, avendo da poco fatto la tua stessa scelta, la differenza vera sta nel movimento clone. noob usa nel v10 sa 3135 che, dopo vari approfondimenti, ritengo sia inferiore a sh3135 ( intercambiabilità con pezzi gen. ecc..) e a vr3135, che sarebbe un sh migliorato disponibile anche su zzf v2s. ho saputo che noob per un certo periodo ha montato sh, credo per il v9, e potrebbe essere il miglior compromesso se non puoi arrivare allo zzf v2s. il tutto scritto da neofita si intende. andrebbe poi condito il tutto con un bracciale arf, che di contro ha una dw inguardabile sul suo v3. ma se sei messo come me, alla prima esperienza, ti consiglio il miglior compromesso che puoi permetterti, senza spenderci altri soldi per le varie mod. poi vedrai....
