U.K.
Mine has good alignment too so I’m guessing these are a new batch of cases.

Am i being to fussy with thinking the date wheel is low in the dial window? And the crown isnt lined up with 12? Also the pearl is to far to the right in the triangle on the bezel?

Yesterday when you posted these (you had just kind of posted the pics - or one of the other members did) I was going to ask “what do you think?” because I didn’t want to say anything that would cause anyone... I didn’t want to put the idea in your head. Especially because a lot of people are oblivious to some details but the date position caught my eye.

That being said, even if you got the date lined up, you’d still be looking at an ARF datewheel. Other aspects of the watch look really good. You think you’re going to keep the datewheel anyway?

I wouldn't worry about the date being low, this is a common occurance in these. Not likely you'd get a much better one. I would ask if he would send a couple more pics of the bezel insert between 12 - 2, where it might be a hair but also looks like a crack. I wouldn't think Li would try to sell a cracked bezel insert, so I would imagine it't a hair... but better safe than sorry.

This is my first eplica and i kinda didnt want to play around with it my self because im worried ill damage it. i was looking for one i can where out of the box even if the fonts are a little bit off. The date not being lined up to the centre would bug me though. I have since learned from members comments and yours. That this is common with a arf which is a shame as ive seen a review on here with the date being centre and its a stock watch the guy said in the review.

I have Also seen a review from li or jtime about a zzf 116610 ln compared to a gen, arf, noob and nail

https://forum.replica-watch.info/fo...nd-comparison-vs-gen-arf-noob-and-nail-part-i

Within this review the date wheel doesnt look very centred on a zzf it looks all over the place, but i asked to see a zzf from li and the pictures of the one he has sent me the date wheel looks nice and centre theres a few things that dont match up with gen like the serial number isnt aligned very well but they dont bug me as much. So i think im going to see if i can get more pictures of the date wheel and see what movement is in it ask to see it on the machine that has the small microphone that tells you how the watch is beating to see if its 28800 and how many seconds its gaining or loosing a day. All that being good hopefully i can get my first watch :)

Yeah i very much doubt he would send me something like that as i have seen the rest of his reviews and they are glowing :) im going to look into a zzf now anyway as im not that keen on a date wheel not being centre and like you and others have advised me its common with the arfs unfortunately.

I know what you mean. Most of my watches, I wear as is. When they’re serviced, I might do a little work but it’s hardly a regular occurrence. That being said, these qc pics are great (the fact that we get them) but keep in mind, these are heavily magnified images and it is a lot easier to be irritated by things when we’re zooming in very very closely that, with the naked eye, we’d never even be capable of seeing. I find myself taking pics of my watches to look at details that I can’t see with the naked eye at all. It’s actually funny.

I’m not saying accept the watch. That date riding heavy would drive me nuts too and on the full size image it’s the first thing that caught my eye. However I will say that (you have different size pics there) and when looking at the smaller pics, the little thumbnail size pics, when I look at them, the date doesn’t look out of center. When you’re looking at ‘the watch’ it looks good. It’s inly when you stare at the date that it looks out of place (to me) - if that makes sense. I haven’t seen enough to know what is really acceptable and what isn’t (what’s to be expected and what’s me being hyper-critical).

Also, just a little snack. Not food to eat, but food for thought. I have a noob sea dweller that I love and the datewheel - like 25 of the 31 numbers are great. But 6 of them ride a little high. And I know what you mean. It’s irritating af. That’s why I love these threads and when people post their qc pics.

Keep us updated. Let’s see see those new pics when they come in.

Yeah im extremely grateful that we can get qc pictures and yeah i wont be looking at the watch through a jewlers loop but i just would like it to look good to the naked eye. Hes sent me more qc pictures of a different arf and i like it alot think i might ask him to send that one just would like to see some other photos of it and it looks perfect to my untrained eye anyways haha

Recieved my watch from li and i will say my experience with jtime was the same level of service if not better than a ad. He was very friendly helpful and was always willing to help me with things i didn't know about the watch. He had a lot of patience with me as i requested a lot of qc photos and was very nervous about sending money to someone on the other side of the world. But i can 100% say that he is genuine and really professional. I would definitely recommend him, he is very trustworthy! Whole experience with Li was pleasurable and would definitely order again.

Both have there flaws but for me the arf was slightly closer looking to gen and the flaws wasnt as easy to see with the naked eye. Like the serial number in the rehaut spacing within the seconds of the dial.

The font on date window seems to be better on the zzf but without having a gen next to mine to compare it to i wouldnt be able to tell. The perl and the bezel insert was better on the zzf but again this isnt something i could tell myself without having a gen to compare too.

also i figured the serial number i couldnt change on a zzf as its part of the case but on a arf i can change the bezel insert and the date wheel if i liked.

The 'a' in submariner is flat in the arf but in the zzf it is not. They have made two types of dials for the 116610 ln and one has a flat a and one does not. I preferred arfs version. Also after messing li around alot with qc photos on the arf i didnt want to go through the same again with a zzf as i didnt feel it would be fair because really i should have done my research before and decided what factory i would like.

Overall im extremely happy with my arf and as im not a expert in watches i cant tell the difference on my wrist. The arf looks very crisp and the movement sweeps just like a gen i got the box and papers to go with it to give me the illusion of owning a gen and im really happy with choice.

The laser etched crown at 6 oclock is invisible to the naked eye. Once looking through a jewellers loop i can see it which i think is a nice touch as i think the gen you cant see with your naked eye
