I have a genstein 116523 (all genuine other than the movement, which is a clone 4130). I also have a dial / bezel combo for a 116520. I've just bought a NOOBV3 with ARF bracelet etc, and I have a dillema,

should I -
  • franken the Noob and keep the 116523 as is, having one franken and one genstein.
  • Install the 116520 dial / bezel / bracelet into the genuine case, making a super franken 116520, and then move all the 116523 parts onto the noob, so I'd effectively have two super frankens?

I'd be interested in thoughts from those experienced with Daytonas :). I'm going to pick up gen hands and pushers to complete the 116520 whatever I do.

Love that TT. If it was mine, I wouldn't touch it. Seems like an odd choice to partially break up a watch that's 100% gen in all respects bar the movement. So my preference would be for option 1: Keep the genstein as is and franken the 116520.

I wouldn't touch your gorgeous 116523 either.

Good feedback guys. The genstein will stay . To be honest one of my concerns with the 523 is I can probably never sell it -- as it would be too easy for someone else to pass off as gen.
