I had 5-6 PAMs at one time and sold them all off, thinking I was done with them. Then Gregr began posting mini reviews of his bargain buys from PWC/T4D and they began to spark my interest again. Recently, on RG, someone complained about HKTan's poor service and I chimed in that I was promised a free strap as compensation for endless delays but never received it. Aaron finally made good on the offer and I had a very nice alligator strap with nothing to wear it on.

Thus the 111 from PWC:

Greg had commented on how well these "bargain" watches were made. He's right! Construction is superb for a $99 watch.

It comes with AR that looks pretty good. A little blue in certain angles but otherwise helps the dial to pop out.

The sad part is the HKTan strap doesn't fit! It's a tad too wide for the supplied buckle. I thought I was covered as a still have 5-6 extra PAM straps but the buckles are all sewn in. I was faced with the decision of either wearing the rep strap or this Toscana strap. I don't like the oversized buckle on the Toscana strap so I'll probably stick with the rep strap, which isn't too bad, until I can source a buckle that fits.

A final parting shot of the crown and CG. Very well made. Tight, no wobble at all. Nicely machined.

Lume is okay for a rep. Better than most, not as good as the Deep Sea.

Highly recommended for people who just want to get their feet wet in a PAM.

I rather like it on the Toscana strap, it really suits the watch.

Excellent purchase!

I bought similar watch....just a rookie with PAM, but looks good to me. The band will be replaced with the Panatime dark Brown Vintage. Calling them today.
I am a noobie and clearly no expert, but the lume appears to be pretty weak.
I would do a relume, but some on the Forum advise to see if I like the watch look first before jumping to Mod an inexpensive PAM 111H.Make sense???

That buckle may grow on you.

If not, a pair of tin snips will cut right through that buckle and then you can replace it with any 24mm buckle of your choice. I've done it on more than one TC/GeF/Mario Paci strap.

I held the watch up to a strong light for 15-20 sec. before going to bed last night. The hour markers were clearly seen past 5 a.m. but the hands were hard to see. The hour markers lume was comparable with my WM9 V2 Sub w/Superluminova. Shame the hands aren't, though.

I tried putting my $100 Pam 111H up to a strong light...it works the lume is much more pronounced. Magic?????
I got this watch from D4ME. Certainly a first rate value.

Great buy...that crown and the case alone would make your $99 go a long way.

Shame for the CG though, it seems they still use the 'new-style' oversized CG on these reps, so that the lever tip sits too far off the crown plate.

All in all - awesome watch for the money!

cheers,
babola

I've sent it off to Rex for a lume and movement servicing--it's a keeper. While wearing it last weekend I noticed that the crystal was horribly misaligned. Rex will fix that, too.

I picked up a buckle and springbars from Panatime.

Can't wait to get it back!

I would like to relume my 111H. Please advise how I can get in touch with REX. In your opinion, what is approximate cost to relume?
Thanks

Rex is charging $200 for lume, movement regulation/servicing, and polishing of the case. Lume itself is usually $150. You can contact him on RepGeek. Other guys do lume but I don't know what they charge.

Thats doesn't sound cheap $150 to lume a sandwich dial.
I would have thought $50 was nearer the mark they are not difficult to do could understand if it were a sausage dial.
I would buy a key ring torch before i would pay that outragous
Whole watch costs $99 and service and relume costs $200 am I missing something

Sandwich dials are very easy to lume, $150 for lume is ridiculous on the sandwich, I would buy some Noctiluma, NitroLume or the like and do it myself. :)

Perhaps it is pricey.

But I plan on keeping this watch and wearing it often. I don't know how to service and regulate a movement and I don't have a crystal press. The crystal was quite crooked. It was flush with the metal on one side.

I see everyone's point about the lume, though. I have removed a movement before and I assume the "sandwich" dial has layers that simply separate. Sounds easy. Perhaps I'll get your $99 112, some lume, and try it myself.

Sorry, Mendota. The one I ordered has disappeared.

Back from Rex, finally. No lume shot as I'm too lazy to find the tripod. On an HKTan gator strap--fabulous!

Crystal is still crooked. Rex set he reset it so it must be a fault with the case. I try not to look.

It lumes like crazy! A beautiful watch on a stunning strap. I recommend both.
