Will be ready to buy within the next month. Trying to gather some info. Money is no object with this purchase. Rep of course. These are my two choices. A noob 029 or H factory 005. Two completely different watches. I like both designs and will eventually have both. What are your suggestions?

Both great watches and great choices but two completely different animals. Hard to choose one over the other and two different price points to boot. I'd go with whatever version speaks to you first. You can't go wrong with either as a first purchase; Use the 411 below to make a wise choice and you'll never look back.

IMHO, for the 029, the only place worth buying is from BK. The Swiss movement offering is the way to go. His contains (and has been verified many times) a Sellita SW200. I have had several come across my bench and every one of them has been excellent; Brand new movements in perfect working order. At the $550 +/- price tag, given the excellent replication of the Noob 029 coupled with a great power plant, this watch is actually a bargain.

As to the 005, this too is an excellent, great looking watch. The OP logo dial is a treat. The new, updated H-Fac version or the latest Noob version will both suit you well. The latest H-fac appears to have a better dial than the Noob; I wouldn't doubt forum confirmation isn't too far behind... I have a Noob version that I shaved the markers and relumed and it is one of my favorite watches. I alternate a 005 and a 111 as a daily beater...

Happy hunting!

Although I like tuxedo dial on 029, my choice would be 005 because of the simpler look and of course 6497 movement which is a work horse, simple and smooth without any trouble in my experience. Third point would be price but you said it's not an object. :)

Really like the features the 29 has. GMT and date feature. Not sure if I would fork out the extra cash for a Swiss movement though. The only down side I fear of the 29 is the movement. How does the GMT hand work? Is it a modified movement that would be hard to replace?

I say you just cave in and buy both.

You had to say that. That just means more straps to buy. I get the Asian movement in the 29 and buy the 005. Problem solved.

005. 029 is my least favourite PAM despite it's accuracy.

005 is a nice watch but I'd still go for 000 or the 111 or better yet 390.
As for 029, I had been going back & forth for deciding if I want to pull trigger on it. I think it will be a C & R right away, despite it's military look & accuracy, I don't think it's for everyday use and the GMT Dial & Date on a7750 can't be relied a lot..

Found a 005 noob on TSWatch website. Has the roller ball on the crown lever and a nice dial. It's the Noob V2. I like me the 005 because it has the logo dial with the seconds. Now having doubts on the 029 due to its movement.

People are stating there are no issues with a 7750 with date & modified gmt. To be honest, I have had the tuttonero; pam438 and the pam88 from noob and quite frankly, about 2 more similar watches I had, I didn't have any specific issues as per se but always felt that the reps and their movements should be simple enough without any complication to be more reliable but then again that's just me. Not to mention 029 despite it's bettarini case, not having the seconds subdial on 9oclock doesn't make it feel so much PAM.

If you want, go for the 005 from either H or V6F. they are pretty economic and good enough if you are not really anal.

The 029 does not run a 7750 it will have either a 2836 or a SW240. And both have been good reliable movements. So if the only reason you were thinking of not getting the 029 was because it was running a 7750 then don't worry because it is not.

As much as I admire the accuracy and style of the 029, I just can't bring myself to pull the trigger on it. I always have some sort of question or second thought. It's something with the way the lume markers stand out.
IMO, the 005 will give you much more versatility if you're only looking to get one for the moment.

Second that the 029 looks stunning in person, it gets lots of wrist time

I'm now leaning toward the H factory 000.
