Went to the AD today

used the nice weather and went to the AD today to check out the B01. So many different opinions about this watch, I really liked it. Yes, the pearl is pretty big, but it really glows in the night. The AD told me that Breitling will come out next year with the Navitimer, using the B01 movement.

Now I am waiting for the release of the B01, I will get one. Hopefully they do not scrue it up.:screwed:

You beat me to it. I went to Ross Simon today to check out the BO1 as well and I loved it. The Breitling specialist presented the watch very well. I had to resist the urge to purchase (IT WAS STRONG). I guess I will wait to see if there is a good rep of the watch first before I plucked down $4k plus on the gen.

I put it on the table when I put the B01 on and he asked me which number I have since this is a limited edition and I told him, just take a look. He told me that he was not able to get one, all were sold out after 4 month. I had my gen strap on it.
During Basel World I had the Hktan strap on that watch and the guy on the information desk from Breitling saw it and tried it on. I got a lot of complements from him regarding strap and watch, so that watch is proofen to be good since only 2k are available and not many people have seen it. I also believe, you need to put the gen next to it to see a difference. My is relumed and it looks perfect.

Anyway, no risk, no fun.

They would need lots of bullets.
It looks like it was designed by a committee with each member working on a different part and no communication till they put the parts together at the end of the project.

Thanks, was on a slow connection and for some reason, the beer pic took longer to load (can't stand to wait for my beer ), so I didn't see the Blacksteel. Rookie mistake :cute:

I like the watch you're wearing much better than the samples shown. Beautiful. Knowing that you could wear it into a shop and be complimented on it by an AD, even better. From now on, if anyone asks if it's a gen, you could always tell them that your AD says it is...

Saw one yesterday at the AD - To my eyes it's worse in the flesh.
While most Breitlings look very classy, the jumbled design elements on this one make it look cheap and trashy.

Could you please tell me what modification you did to the black steel? I would love to modify mine to the perfect state like yours and fool an AD. Is it just relume? or did you do other stuff to it too? I assume the job is done by ziggy from EWG?
