Has anyone had any relevant contact with him over the past 4-5 days? By relevant i mean an actually chatty email, not just "ok" or "yes" etc.

If so, is he out of town...or busy with some other issues?

Cos when it comes to waiting for an order, I'm a patient, laid-back kinda guy...

I just ordered a watch from him about an hour ago. He was very quick to reply back to my questions and even sent sample pictures!

I've gone back and forth with him several times this week about prices for certain things. My package on the other hand is floating around somewhere. It's shown sitting at the dispatch center for 6 days now. :err:

My emails also are odd from what I have read verus what I receive...
I receiveabout the same from Sarah nothing that leads me to even ask if he could understand if I asked for a photo before shipping item...

I also just read a post from someone who asked for photo and never received it..

I have recieved two watches and have one to be mailed yet...

I just received the wrong model IWC today thats $10 cheaper than the model he sent (not and big issue) I just dont like the model he sent

The first watch an Omega UPO, it hand winds only three turns then it just slips

I never received a reply from my questions about the UPO and nothing more than a price quotes and tracking No.

If I have an issue with the Ebel 1911 RTR I just ordered I am done no matter how good his feedback......

I will go in and vouch for Hont! He is a stand up guy.
1) He is very busy
2) His english is not the best so he keeps communication simple.
3) He QC a watch as best he can- he is not going to hang on to it for a week and check everything works. But he does a better QC than some dealers here.
4) If there is an issue he will try and look after you as best he can. Remember we are not dealing with an AD here. But he will TRY to do something for you even if it is discount your next purchase.
5) Just imagine how busy he is and how many "tyre kickers" he gets emails from.
6) Speaking of AD's he gives better service than several TAG AD's here in my city!!

LOS is going through the dealers and vetting them at the moment (from what I have read). Some may not end up here in the future, some new ones may come on board. But I'm pretty confident that Hont will always be here.

I wasn't asking if Hont was trustworthy or not...I was one of the first dozen members here to use him. Remember, I have been here for a long time!

I merely wanted to know where he was at....but thanks for the insight.

hont does seem to be disappearing lately,you email him and he gets back to you then you email again and hes gone for 24hrs.he does seem to do alot of answering in the early hours aswell.
i think it all boils down to him being so successful.
i cant imagine how many emails he gets....then hes got to get the watches....then package them up....then send them....plus hes got to have some kind of time to eat and sleep...I DONT KNOW HOW HE MANAGES IT.

im just waiting for a big red van to turn up with my latest watches...

I appreciate the 'H' man is very busy, it's just that his team are usually very quick with sourcing my orders....and this time its noticeably slower.

i dont think its just hont,alot of the CN based dealers seem to be a bit slow as of late,ive noticed a few threads creeping in about slow service.

if you want something fast and you know exactly what you want,robert is the man who can.....imo
