You know, I really shouldn't be surprised by this, but this really is a new low, even for Jandrew.

And to answer the question of a new member, the "twins" refer to Josh and Andrew, who jointly own the websites perfect clones and Trusty Time. Although I've heard from several sources that Andrew has recently been forced out, and Josh owns everything now.

And people still ask me why I hate Jandrew with such passion, the main reason being that they take advantage of their customers, simple as that! Plus, I HAVE NEVER seen the so called "gen" that was used for dissection on each of the models they mentioned they had one, what a bunch of lying scumbags! :skeptical:

Can't see a pic or link but anyone willing to shell out over 1 K for a any rep almost deserves to be ripped off. I'm sure they will sell plenty LoL.

I didnt want to post a link to Best Swiss. They are the ultimate ripoff site. I find it odd that so far only the twins and Best Swiss have this.

Seems kinda fishy.

Upon closer inspection, this may very well be based on ETA2824 ebauche. Faux appearance is then added later. Nothing extraordinary and I think adjusting the time accuracy will be more difficult with this movement. I would say this movement should be priced the same as Asian copy of ETA2824/2836.

This movement is an eta 2836 movement with colored gears, Rolex gold engravings and a new balance bridge design.

Interesting. Chinese marketing and brain manipulation for poor rep collectors. You walk in the street, drink cocktails in bars, and imagine the movement inside your watch is a Rolex movement... its just a rep movement in a rep watch. Thats all.

So you can also carry a case opener tool in your pocket to show the movement to a girl and try to attract her. Hum...
Girls are intelligent -especially rep blonds-:biglaugh:

On another way, the French writter Charles Beaudelaire wrote : "to go with intelligent women is a pleasure for pederast":biglaugh:

This movement looks pretty good, but not enough to fool collectors on Ebay. Photoshop and a Paraguay or Congo IP adress are the best friends to sell a Chinese piece of shit as a gen on the web :cute:

Guys I am pretty sure is it based on an eta clone and not the 21J, look at the golden gears and the left side of the 3138 marking. I could be wrong though.. even if it was a clone 2836, it is still a rip off.

I'm not sure I'm following this. Are we talking about the Rolex Anniversary with ceramic bezel for $338.00? I paid Hont the same price for what he claimed was also a "Swiss" movt. Deep Sea Dweller.

Thats exactly what I said, this is curious and common on forums : I write something, then someone comes and write exactly the same, :biglaugh:

This is a 2836 with painted gears, Rolex gold stamps and a new designed balance bridge. Period.

Just a detail : The 2836 ergonomy allows this new balance bridge with 2 legs.
Don't ask me anal questions : to much complicated to expain. I work on these movements and I know what I am talking about. :cool2:

Just get it with an asian eta clone(the normal one). Smooth sweep, and less money.

When did you buy it? I got a price from him that was ALOT less for the swiss DSSD.

I got it when it was first out over a year ago.

OK - modified (decorated) 2836. So what are they charging for this over a clone 2836?
Last time I checked, Rolex doesn't make a display back (except the ones they sell on Canal St!).

I've seen companies like Panerai take a standard movement, put on a decorated bridge, slap it into an existing case and charge 5k more. Is it worth it? No. Is it worth it to somebody? Yes. All perspective.

This is a fake movement that I think it does not worth more than asian clone eta 2824/36.

Why pay more? This is not very close to the genuine and I think micro adjusting it will posses some problems (I don't see the screw here).
