Noob V10 Submariner 3135 movement verson?

Talking about gen parts, do you know if a gen 116610LV ceramic insert will match a Noob V10?

I can't say for certain it will because I've never tried it myself. But I believe it will fit yeah. There's plenty of franked builds based on the V10 that have the gen insert fitted so it seems to me it will fit. Put it this way if I find one cheap enough I would buy it.

I'm waiting for my deep sea to come back from Steve in Germany. Cant wait to see how the bezel looks after he does his thing on it. If you don't know he does proper plat sputter coating in the bezel, supposed to be as good as gen.

The date wheel will fit the VR3135. Pretty sure the crystal will as well. I bought a £35 crystal off ebay for my V9 and it was 100% better than the noob. Got rid of the purple ish tint they seem to have.
Got a clark to go on the V10 when it goes to my watchmaker for a service.

Looks like a VR to me. IDK of any other 3135 that has all those characteristics. If you want to post a few different date numbers (clear, closeup) that would help settle it.

The camera was hand held so most still aren't razor sharp. Click on the image to bring up full size. The crispness of the 9 is a good representation of how they all look.

Good luck!! I also got a Noob v10 LV about 6 weeks back, unfortunately It was the SA.

My V10 with the (what looks like) VR3135 was ordered Aug 18 2020, delivered Sept 2 2020, seemingly before yours, but after some people that recently got an SA... Maybe the VR's are going in the V11's and latest run V10's. Good luck.

Hello guys, I finally got my 116610LV Noob V10 and according to first picture in this thread it seems to be a VR3135. I post you some photos. I’m however disappointed with dial. It’s a great watch but dial is misaligned, as you can see. There is something I can do? Thanks.

One question, given the choice between cloned VR3135 and ETA A2824 / A2836 machinery, why do you prefer cloned? I understand that the clone in case a part is damaged is more complicated to repair, on the other hand, with any standard machinery they can repair it at any watchmaker, does the VR3135 have any advantage at the precision level?

That's the kind of thing you should be spotting in the QC pix. But I guess you k ow that now.
You can check to see if the stem is going in straight and not at an angle. I've done it, it's easy enough. Take the stem out, loosen the movement holding screws and move the dial around so it all lines up, then fit the stem making sure it goes in straight. If you see what I mean. Failing that it's off to a watchsmith.

I think there is no advantage anymore, just a sense of greater completeness

The dial can be fixed, but unless you do it yourself it might cost about the same or less to just buy a replacement rep dial.

The dial feet would need to be clipped off, the stumps grinded and sanded down, then new feet glued or soldered on. It's something watchmakers and we as hobbyists do routinely to put a vintage dial in that comes with no feet for example, or to fit a 3135 dial to a 2824 movement, etc.

Your dial is off quite bit more than usual and it's very odd that it would be off that much. So it's possible that one of your dial feet (on the right side) has broken off and the dial has shifted on the movement. I say that because your minute tic marks are partly concealed by the rehaut at 10 - 25 minutes but you have a gap between the minute tics and the rehaut on the left side.

So you may just need one dial foot fixed.

It’s really simple. I unscrewed the screws holding the movement in place, then while my girlfriend was holding the movement in place with a screwdriver, I stopped the movement by screwing in the screws.
