pages are refreshing for me in 1.3 seconds. New links are populating in 1.8 seconds..
and the server is still handling a lot.. We are moving a lot faster now.. and it will only get faster..

Yep, it is taking me about 20-30 seconds to load a page. The after reading it, another 20-30 to go back. Hopefully it will speed up soon. I will be off line all day today, and hope it is better tomorrow. The look is great but currently RWI is unusable for me anyways. I am using Chrome FWIW
I'm sure (hope) the speed will improve once thye database quits being mugged. Other than trying to figure out where a lot of stuff is the major irritant is having to scroll all the way to the bottom for the brand specific boards.

Like others I find it incredibly slow and almost unusable. I appreciate the work gone into changing something like this but to be brutally honest I wish they hadn't bothered cos I hate this new look and maybe I am alone but I really liked the way it was before.
Hopefully rebuilding is finished soon.
And I will switch styles ASAP. Difficult to read IMHO - sigs don't differentiate from the text.

I think it will just take some getting used to. I, too, find it slow, but that should change. Everything I'm used to is either missing or in a different place (and some I have yet to find).
I agree it is harder now to differentiate where one post ends and another begins - not as clearly defined now. I'll try some other skins and see if that helps.
Also, I couldn't load my avatar from Photobucket. I had to upload from my computer. I hope that is fixed as well.
Nope - different skins are worse. Plus, it's taking about 30 seconds for a response to post. I'm going away for a couple of days and then we'll see how it's doing. I just don't need the aggrevation.

Nice change. Log in & password took several attempts. Lil slower. Please change the forum colors to normal white background & reg. blk. text. vbulletin2 works great at my other fourm clubs. Thanks.

vb is nice and today its been infinitely more usable. Still there are a few bits to iron out. Am patient now but you should have seen my full blown withdrawal induced fit of expletives when I lost all of the 8 friends I'd mde online, all of my 14 quality posts (I'd just joined - sadly made after the 72 hr period) couldn't log on then had the slowest browsing experience since ticketmaster for muse on my phone. Traffic and load balancing was the culprit in that case as in our migration to 2.0
I'm sure the DB mrtg graphs were peak for long periods yesterday
I have much more patience today as everything appears to hv cached ok... I noticed a lot of UK users were similarly finding it slower compared to reports by US ? RWIers

Nice to see the "brand section" back toward the top. It didn't need to be rhat AT the top but that's a helluva lot better than all the way at the bottom!
Things are starting to feel a bit "peppier" so there is no where to go but up.
I remember when I was a network admin (in another life) when users would complain about speed I would often innocently inform them that for some reason they actually had more bandwidth allocated to them than they should have so I could easily "fix" it and make it slower! I kinda miss those days... :-\

Would it be possible to make the, eeehhhh, "moving-banner--thingy-that-displays-the latest-topics" (is that the correct term?) move a little faster?
