Could possibly be some quick attempt.

116610 case, with the inside of the lugs milled away.
Hulk insert
SeaDweller bracelet

Job done.

Not the worst idea. RXF base + green CF bezel insert + metal mod + ARF SD43 bracelet. Roughly 1000 USD for parts and work though. And wearing a 126610 just a few weeks after release will be highly suspicious...

I'm a highly suspicious guy.

As was said above, and I missed, there is a coronet on the 6 marker of the dial. This pic probably came from a grey dealer...
No AD will have 3 cermits for sale...

So this clasp image was posted over on TRF.
I’m not sure I like it to be honest - it seems grossly out of proportion compared with the GMT / former clasp...
I mean, the Sub is still near as dammit the same size as a GMT. Why did they need that fat goofy ass clasp?

Agree that looks humongous. I read they did it to keep the taper consistent with the previous taper. If they had kept the previous clasp width it would have resulted in an excessive taper. So they say.

But you know what? The watch I'm wearing today has that exact "excessive" taper, from 21mm to 16mm and I've never given it a second thought. IDK if the gen 216570 is like the rep though.

I can bet NOOB is gonna make it before new year. They lost the track with 116xxx anyway.

Wow....That is BIG!

It's gonna look awkward unless you have a big wrist to pull off such a big clasp....

funny how they slimmed down the lug but beef up the clasp

Looks like these are exactly like the ARF SD43 bracelets. I never really thought of those clasps as huge, but then the watch is much bigger.

I see...I found a comparison picture of the SD43 clasp and Hulk clasp....

so the new sub clasp is as same size as that SD43 huh?....seems too big....at least for me, it is...

That's what it looks like to me bro - My Hulk clasp is ~18mm, the SD43 is ~19mm so that looks right with the pics. Of course those are rep measurements. The SD43 lug width is 21mm, same as the gen 126610 Sub, so it's probably the same bracelet and clasp without a dive extension.

The SD43 is quite a large watch, but even on that the clasp is too large IMO - especially length - it can span the bottom of a 7” wrist. The Sub is supposed to be a more comfortable, better daily wear though. Why slim and finesse the case and lugs if only to put the bracelet and chunky clasp of a Sea Dweller on it?

i know Sea Dwellers always used to have the same clasp, but that was before they became a 43mm behemoth.

Agreed, they also have to make the lugs nice. ZZF made a dent in their business for sure. So this time they have to come on top if they want ppl to buy any of their watches.

ftfy Noobs subs have been random at best ever since the half assed launch of the V8.
And lets not even get started on the junior water ghost...

The Planet Ocean is a huge watch, so it goes with a huge clasp. A Sub though?
