I feel like these are all computer generated images, so perhaps the real one will have a recess. They didnt even get the crown color right at first on the Blusey and had to change it.

The bracelet looks larger, and in particular the center link. When polished like on this picture I like it less than the current models

very interesting. In my opinion the recessed SELs were one of the distinguishing features that set a Rolex apart from other manufacturers. It just looks that good in the metal

Lug width is now 21mm, the lug thickness was reduced by shaving them down on the inside.

Yes, I guess we won't know until we see them.

My initial take was the colours were somewhat different - less bright with the green looking cooler and the blue looking less saturated and warmer.

While many say these releases are lazy, I'm not really buying into that - Rolex would have done a bucket load of research and prototyping on these watches, and the 'laziness' of simply carrying across existing bezels isn't I think likely for them. (Rep factories - different story...)

I think what is happening is articles are written based on images which are released by Rolex, or from a PR pool. We know greens do not reproduce well on screens, for reasons I could bore the forum to death with. And it's a similar situation for blues (and reds). Add in a bunch of horological verbatim and you have everyone thinking they are the same colour as before.

I look forward to seeing them in real life - but that's considerably less likely than the 11XXXX's for a while though...

Thanks for confirming. I guess it will probably take some time to get used to the new design, but for now I'm not sold on the new proportions

Does any one know the thickness of the new subs?! I've searched but couldn't manage to find it. It doesn't say on the Rolex website or their online brochures.
Only i saw in a review they said the new watches are slightly thinner. The old sub 116610 was 12,5mm.
