Abduljay you might want to edit that post. You're not supposed to push sales, solicit sales, try to sell, or post wtb posts outside of the sales forum/subforums. I am sure you can reword that to say it a little less obviously so mods/admin don't have anything to reprimand.

Thanks for your input bro.
I was not trying to sell something here.
Its just that the dial is hard to find as most TDs dont have it.

And since we are talking abt the dial here And I scared the photos. And OP was also talking abt getting One, I thought a Hulk enthusiast might want to grab it.

The mods can delete the post im fine with that.
But it was not my intention at all to push through a sale :) :p

Colleague from work owns an early 2011 almost one of the first ones arriving to ADs, I get mine in early 2017, friend of mine picked one on summer 2019. Putting 3 side by side no differences at all. (IN MY EYES)

Cheers

Rolex dont really formally acknowledge any dial changes on the LN sub but we all know there are around ~5 variations (from memory)....each with subtle dial placing and font variations which nobody would notice during a cursory inspection with the eyes (I real life, not taking about static picture comparisons). So why is it unreasonable to assume they only released one Lv dial?

Also, It is reasonable to assume that a watch that has spent 10years baking in the Texan sun, would realistically have UV colour fade/variation, compared to a watch sitting in a safe.

Anyways, we can’t price anything eitherway.

ARF is very nice as well IMO.

Here are some picture Comparisons of our old gen vs ZZF vs ARF:

As you can see, ARF and ZZF look really close to gen. in fact they could all be the same watch from a gen TRF thread (to my eyes anyway).

Here is ARF: to my eyes the green colour is very good: and I am used to seeing gen - so I would know if the colour was off IRL

Gen vs noob v6.5 (which everyone at the row said was good but turned out to be a POS irl)

I also didn’t a gen vs VRf comparison. Will dig out the pics. But I can tell you now, VRf green looked off to my eyes. Can’t explain why. But it did. It’s the sort of watch that looks good in pictures but in real life it can’t pass for a gen dial IMO.

Everyone has their opinions on the best hulk and there are no right or wrong answers...just good to hear people’s opinions.

I hear ya bro. I wasn’t saying don’t say it, I was just a suggestion wording it in a way where the mods don’t have to delete it and you could keep it up. Not that it matters. If they see stuff they just verbally reprimand you. Or reprimand you in writing more accurately. Lol I’m sure it will be snatched up by then.

Like I said, ARF green is actually very nice. I just don’t like the markers and the flat bright white lume

Im very well aware of the rules bro.
I just bought a Noob Explorer gen spec watch.
Which means i must sell things to fund the watch and the franken project.

I posted the GMF pics earlier here (had no idea i was going to sell it at that time).

And now i just informed you guys that it will Come up for sale, so let me know if you want a RESERVED sale. I would rather sell to one who will appreciate and LOVE the dial like i do (not physically).
I did not say check out my sale im selling. I did not advertise anything.

You must think im doing backdoor sales lol.

Check my buy/sell history bro.

Now please, just keep the thread to its topic.

They are out of production now bro. I saw one recently M2M, that's the only way now.

Thanks Mate!! The 28xx dial does go dark but from your pics the dark and green at the same time in Miyota dial is amazing (probably the best pic I have seen in rep)

KJ2020 gen LN gmt dials are getting inexpensive enough now. I know you’ve taken apart a few gmts. I haven’t looked yet with an eye focused on the details. Do you think the markers on a gmt with chromalight markers uses the same markers as a Submariner?

Can't say firsthand bro, but I would be surprised if they were not the same. You might be on to something. Also what I've seen some members do is buy a damaged gen dial just to scavenge the markers.

It's not only the miyota dial that does that tbh.

Agreed, the 28xx also goes dark and for that matter even ZZF does. But look at KJ's pics, the miyota dark and green is even more pronounced.

Yeah, I agree.. It's a shame that no one else can do it that way.

But, what I don't like about the miyota dial, is that the sunburst isn't that good. It flares too much and makes too many "sun-bursts" if that make sense.

There's only a single sunburst if there's a single light source. I intentionally try to create interesting patterns for artistic effect. A lot of my pic environments have 6 or 8 light sources. The number of bursts is a result of the number of light sources and will be the same for different dials.

Here's some examples with single light source

Here's the same characteristic demonstrated on a different dial.
