Very informative thread.

i’ve decided to buy it but confused as there is RE and AR factory, cant decide which factory to go with.

appreciate feedback.

This is a great rep, but the dial on the silver is not the best. The blue/black/rhodium are pretty much spot on.

I would say if you upgrade the dw, crystal, dial, and hands (in order of importance) then you have a super rep.

If anyone has any tips on where to source these parts then i'm all ears.

I still cant see any yellow hue - maybe its my eyes, i don’t know. Personally i dont think your dial needs swapping out.

3235 DW - forums (rare but come about)
126334 dial - ebay/forums
295c crystal (i think) - ebay/forums - prof/clark also an option
Hands - again ebay/forums

These are all accessible. Dials range on ebay loads in the US who will ship to UK.

Check the xtal code u sure if 295c is correct.

Yes mate, all R factory are like this.

Around the cyclops there is a halo. Is like you see a thick border on the cyclops

No you can't post them at all, that's not what QC pics are for. Learn to identify issues, alignment, stains whatever. If you see something suspicious then you can post a pic and ask for confirmation about that specific thing that you worry about, that's it. Anything that is a known flaw is not worth mentioning.

Roger that....my only concern was the DW, i can’t identify if its correct or wrong. I’ve also seen a video of genuine side by side....only thing i could identify, considering i’m totally Inexperienced in this, the color seems slightly different to orginal.

you will not get a dw on this arf rep that looks like gen, this is a known flaw with arf dw’s , the best you can hope for is a dw with ok’ish font from numbers 1-19 but i’ve yet to see an arf dw that doesn’t have really bold font in the higher numbers from 20 up.

Your DW seems very good to me, some people have gotten much fatter fonts than this. WRT the dial colour, they are all the same so even if you asked for another one you would get the same colour. That's what I mean by a well known flaw: if all watches of the same model by the same factory are known to have the same issue, then it's not worth mentioning and not a reason to reject. You should educate yourself on that and if these known flaws are an issue for you then you shouldn't order the watch I. The first place. (not saying that the colour here is a flaw btw, just illustrating).

The interesting part is that the rep i’m buying is by RE factory which I haven’t heard about before....i’ve QC pics of ARF that has different blue color....Honestly, i’m much much concerned about that but DW was a big tell....
so the guy shared RE 904 pics clamming that color and dw, both have been addressed as this is the latest batch produced or can say V2 of RE factory....
i’ve been googling since yesterday and can’t find any relevant information about....

imo it's a different blue than my arf.
the arf blue comes pretty close to the gene blue. with this version the blue seems to be a bit too bright. dw is also thick... like all arf models also.

I know where the problem is, because the same movement is used, so the same problem occurs in both factories, because almost all the same movements are made from the same factory, but the strap and case Produced from different factories
